ITP V.05 ONLY ONE PER COFFIN: Former Vader drummer DOC dead at 35

Krzysztof "Docent" Raczkowski (a.k.a. Doc), drummer for Polish death metal legends VADER has passed away.
ITP EDITORS NOTE:
This is a very sad day for extreme death metal... I can barely wipe the tears from eyes. Vader's (Polish Death Metal band) former drummer DOC has passed away, as he left Vader (March 2005) to deal with his serious co dependencies and alcoholism.
DOC from Vader was an EXELLENT drummer.. Just listen to the track "Wings" of off the Vader release LITANY. (or Doc's exellent drumming off of VADER's De Profundis).  DOC's drumming and double bass, (wich may be a little triggered) KILLS, and CRUSHES you from the get go. I've seen Vader tons of times and they are an exellent live band, as VADER ALWAYS get a rabid response from the crowd... When Vader play in Poughkeepsie, NY everyone always chants, VA-DER, VA-DER, VA-DER.
Apperantly after leaving VADER DOC joined DIES IRAE..? I think DOC was in DIES IRAE around 2002...
Vader are one of the very first Polish death metal bands to come from behind the "Iron Curtain" before the USSR dissolved after the late 80's...
DOC's death may be somewhat traumatic for his former bandmates in VADER, so I hope they are still able to tour ths USA/N.America in the fall with Suffocation, Cryptopsy, Aborted, Decapitated ect.
All I can say is, "Blast in PEACE (RIP) DOC", we miss you..All this on what WOULD have been Darryl "Dimebag" Abbott's 39th birthday had he not have been murdered in December of 2004, RIP DIMEBAG... .

FROM VADER:
"Doc pretty hard tried to 'fight' against his weaknesses, which were troubles for all of us. Finaly he had not prevailed over that battle... All in all, he attempted. . . VADER today is not just a friendship anymore — it's our life with armies of man involved in music, releases and — first of all — fans waiting for shows or new albums... This is a high responsibility, not too many know about. If a person, even the most talented one, cannot stand it — [he] has to leave... That was Doc's decision as well."

In an April 2005 interview with AbrasiveRock.com, VADER guitarist Mauser elaborated on Doc's "weaknesses," stating, "He had a problem with alcohol and this is the problem. Maybe in the future, if he will be alright, he may be back in the band. Maybe someday. We will see what happens."
