MOTORHEAD: "Lemmy had a lung infection (exacerbated by that Denver altitude) which has now been taken care of. Subsequently, Lemmy’s ready to give it a go in St. Louis at The Pageant."

UK based heavy metal legends MOTORHEAD have posted this statement as doctors have given vocalist/bassist LEMMY KILMISTER the green light to perform. LEMMY KILMISTER was diagnosed with a lung infection as shows on the bands recent tour were shortened and cancelled.

During the last week, MOTORHEAD cut  their sets short (only 4 songs) at the bands 8/27/2015 SALT LAKE CITY UTAH show @ THE COMPLEX. In Austin, TEXAS MOTORHEAD played a shortened 4 song set before MOTORHEAD vocalist/bassist LEMMY KILMISTER announced "I Can't Do It", apologized to the fans and left the stage.
MOTORHEAD  also cancelled their 9/3 and 4/2015 DALLAS (BOMB FACTORY) and HOUSTON TEXAS shows as touring mates SAXON performed separately at smaller venues in said markets.

MOTORHEAD's released "BAD MAGIC", 8/28/2015 via UDR MUSIC.

MOTORHEAD  released the TOUR EDITION OF "AFTERSHOCK" (recorded in APRIL with bonus tracks), as the release date has been pushed back from 7/4/2014 and 7/29/2014 (USA) to 8/1/2014 (EUROPE), 8/4/2014 (UK), 8/26/2014 (NORTH AMERICA) via UDR RECORDS.

MOTORHEAD  unleashed "After Shock", 10/22/2013 via  UDM MUSIC and on AMAZON.

FROM MOTORHEAD:
ST.LOUIS HERE WE COME!
The wait is over and the Doc has spoken. Lemmy had a lung infection (exacerbated by that Denver altitude) which has now been taken care of. Subsequently, Lemmy’s ready to give it a go in St. Louis at The Pageant theater on Tuesday, Sept 9th where Motörhead will continue the 40th Anniversary tour in support of their new album “Bad Magic”.
Amidst all the wonderful support Lemmy has received, many have rightfully said he owes us nothing as he has given us everything. We, however, owe Lemmy something…our total respect for his fierce, single-minded and beautifully stubborn determination to continue burning asphalt, playing rock’n'roll and live where he has always been most comfortable - on the road!
Thanks again for all your support and see you soon!
