Romanian artist COSTIN CHIOREANU has announced the release of "The Quest For A Morning Star", an anticipated collection of art to  benefit CLUB COLECTIV (BUCHEREST, ROMANIA) nightclub fire victims, due to be unleashed 12/23/2015 via AVANT GARDE MUSIC.






According to international media sources, a fire broke out during a 10/30/2015 GOODBYE TO GRAVITY
show at "COLECTIV" nightclub in Bucharest, Romania.
GOODBYE TO GRAVITY threw a free CD RELEASE ( pre HALLOWEEN) show as the "COLECTIV" nightclub fire ignited the CEILING in just 30 seconds via pyrotechnics. Over 400 patrons were attendance at the 10/30/2015 show at CLUB  "COLECTIV",  there were two exits as one had to be broken open, and a stampede for the one open door.


Twenty seven people have been reported dead and 180 injured in the Bucharest, Romania "COLECTIV" club fire.

October 30, 2015 was a real black friday for many people in Bucharest: at Club Colectiv, 60 people have died to date and over 150 are suffering serious injuries after a fire literally turned a rock concert into a human inferno.
Costin Chioreanu launched a campaign to raise funds to help covering hospital and funeral expenses for the victims, by releasing (digitally) on Bandcamp a collection of songs originally conceived for other purposes.
That campaign is now over but Avantgarde Music offered to run a physical release in a collectors' edition, 300 copies limited, A5 sized digipack, featuring 8 marvellous art works from Costin.

Last but not least: the music..... This is the best thing I personally have been listening to in a long time... and features the precious collaboration and signatures of nonetheless than Rune Eriksen, David Tibet, Attila Csihar, Mirai Kawashima, Kimmo Helen, Andrei Ionut, Tudor Diaconescu.
This will be tentatively out 23.12.2015, in fact immediately put in manufacture as you read this.

From now on, the campaign of raising funds for the victims of Colectiv on bandcamp, entitled "The Quest For A Morning Star" is over. On December 5 I will announce the final sum of money which was gathered through this campaign and around December 7 the names of the victims who received the money. I would like to thank you all for donations, amazing messages from all over the world and support. The digital compilation will remain on bandcamp and available just for 1 euro, in order to keep it online forever, as the free download credits are limited.
BUT!!!!!!!!!! I have some great news about a new phase of this project! There is a really die-hard guy in Italy who really shocked me with his killer offer. This gentleman is no one else than the owner of Avantgarde Music, a respected 21 years old label, with a mind blowing portfolio of bands like KATATONIA, OPHTALAMIA, MAYHEM, ABIGOR,UNHOLY and many more.
So, what is the big news?! Well, I am super happy to announce that Avantgarde Music will release "The Quest For A Morning Star" as a deluxe A5 digipack with 7 booklet pages, including liner notes and various illustrations. And nope, I did not change suddenly my mind and perspective about raising funds and turn it into a commercial bullshit. Actually, this de luxe edition is limited just to 300 copies, dedicated to collectors who want to contribute as well to my raising founds for the Colectiv victims. How? Simply, all profit of this release will be donated to these victims, through "Mereu Aproape" a respected foundation from Romania which is taking care of the Colectiv matter as well, in order to keep everything transparent.
