Graz, Austria based post black metal one man project ELLENDE has out done him self with a majestic EP of melancholic atmospheres amalgamated with melodic post metal.  ELLENDE'S  "TRIEBE" even includes a re-arranged version of the projects classic track "WELTENNACHT". 


A beautiful acoustic interlude kicks of ELLENDE''S opening track  "TRIEBE II" .At 2:49,   "TRIEBE II"  open the portals of darkness with blast beats and some awesome melodic post black metal. "TRIEBE II" features an epic atmosphere of quality black metal vocals and melodic riffing. 

Mid song, at 5:37,  ELLENDE''S "TRIEBE II", enters an instrumental mode with a beautiful synths, melodic guitar solos for an enchanting atmosphere of heavenly bliss. 

 At 8:30, ELLENDE''S "TRIEBE II" ends with an amalgamation of powerful vocals and melodic black metal. 

ELLENDE''S "TRIEBE'S "second track is a re-arranged version of the bands 2014 track "WELTENNACHT", 

At 4:17,  ELLENDE''S WELTENNACHT"  breaks from awesome black metal into a mesmerizing instrumental melodic passage, beautifully segueing back into some vicious blast beats and dark madness. 

 

 ELLENDE''S "TRIEBE'S" third and last track "ZWISCHEN SOMMER UND HERBST" enters softly with a beautiful acoustic interlude. At 2;40,  ELLENDE''S "ZWISCHEN SOMMER UND HERBST" segues into full instrumentation into an epic melancholic atmosphere.  

 

. .ELLENDE''S "TRIEBE" features quality production as every instrument  breathes into an epic atmosphere. 

ELLENDE'S "L.G." is not alone in this awesome performance, live and studio drummer "P.F." puts on a clinic behind the skins,  the paint on  ELLENDE'S canvas.

On the new album the popular mixture of extreme metal mixed with timeless melodies, driving riffs and epic parts as well as the aggressive screams and the choral vocals were retained and expanded with a lot of flair by several nuances.
Today the band already unveils the cover artwork for the upcoming record which once again was designed by Peter Salai.
