CRADLE OF FILTH have inked a deal with NAPALM RECORDS.

 CRADLE OF FILTH have announced that keyboardist  ANABELLE IRANTI and guitarist RICHARD SHAW have left the band.

PATRIARKH: (Formerly Batushka): POST NEW TRACK "WIERSZALIN III"

 Polish black metal warriors PATRIARKH have posted a video for "WIERSZALIN III", a track from the bands anticipated new release "ПРОРОК ИЛИЯ", due to be unleashed 1/3/2025 via NAPALM RECORDS.

 Polish black metal warriors BATUSHKA have changed their band name to PATRIARKH. 

A polish court ruled that Krzysztof "Derph" Drabikowski owns the band name BATUSHKA after he founded the bands in 2015. The lawsuit over BATUSKA'S name will be appealed by former member Bartłomiej "Bart" Krysiuk. 

Drabikowski and Krysiuk split in 2018 as Krysiuk signed to METAL BLADE RECORDS (and now NAPALM RECORDS) under the BATUSHKA name. 

 Drabikowski unleashed "Панихида" in 2019 as Батюшка

 Krysiuk carried on as BATUSHKA and unleashed unleashed "HOSPODI (Господи)",  7/12/2019 via METAL BLADE RECORDS.

Promoters for PROGPOWER USA, set to take place Sept. 3-6, 2025 in ATLANTA, GEORGIA have announced THE OCEAN have cancelled.

It is with regret that I announce The Ocean has canceled their appearance at ProgPower next September. The band reached out to me shortly after the festival last month and informed me of the issue. We tried to figure out a way that would allow the band to perform, but it's unclear whether or not that would be possible. Thus, I made the decision to pull the plug now and head into a new direction before tickets for Day 2 go on sale.
Band statement: "With The Ocean’s impending lineup change at the beginning of next year on the horizon and the fact that our work visas for the current lineup expired, we have to regretfully pull out of Prog Power USA 2025. Cancelling shows is an absolute last resort for us and we’re sorry for not being able to perform. We heard only great things about Prog Power and hope to be able to play Prog Power at one point in the future!"
I have already begun working on a replacement and should be able to announce something ahead of our on sale date for Day 2.

WILLIAM TOLLEY, drummer of Long Island New York death metal (NYDM) warriors INTERNAL BLEEDING has sadly passed away bravely serving as a New York City firefighter at ladder 135 in Ridgewood, Queens.






A fire broke out 4/20/2017 in Queens, New York City, New York as ladder 135 were called to scene. WILLIAM TOLLEY suffered fatal injuries from a five story fall fighting the 4/20/2017 Queens New York fire.

I am very tired here in my hotel room, had a pinched nerve during our show yesterday (thanks Avianca for the worst flight seat and leg-space ever - never again!!! ) but also very proud was the band has achieved and how tight and strong the group performs 2024.

Due to complications from Hurricane Milton, Monstrosity have just made the very difficult decision to cancel their appearance at CDF VII. Most of the band are still dealing with the negative impacts of the storm and there was no possible way that they could fly to CA last night.
Cenotaph (Mex) will now be playing today, October 12th.

The entrance to Sweets Ballroom is located at 1933 Broadway in Oakland.
Re-entry is possible all weekend!
Tickets will be available at the door, at least on Saturday.
There is no guarantee that buying at the door will be possible on Sunday, as it is about to sell out!

Vendors and band merch will be located on the balcony level at the ballroom.
Please bring cash as you will need it for most merch and the bars!
