SAXON: SVEN DIRKSCHNEIDER ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARY REPLACEMENT FOR NIGEL GLOCKLER

UK "NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL" legends (NWOBHM) SAXON have announced SVEN DIRKSCHNEIDER (son of ACCEPT frontman UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER) will temporarily replacing drummer NIGEL GLOCKLER for the bands re-scheduled WINTER 2015 UK shows. Late last year, NIGEL GLOCKER had been hospitalized for brain surgery as the band has POSTPONED their UK run as the tour has been re-scheduled for FEBRUARY 2015 .

SAXON have announced spring 2015 U.S. dates with ARMORED SAINT.

Sven Dirkschneider will be drumming all these shows as Nigel will not be 100% fit by then but he will be at the shows! Sven is Udo Dirkschneider's son of Accept and U.D.O. fame! There are still some tickets left for shows and VIP tickets! See you on Tour! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

A quick update:
Nigel is getting better each day & I am hoping he can be released sometime next week. There are certain things the DRS like to watch for after these things so they are being overly cautious & want to keep an eye out on him a little longer - which is fine by me - my first and only thought right now is for his health/recovery.

The long term prognosis is excellent & they say he will be able to be back behind HMS Glockler when he is fully recovered. Updates for his return will be released by Saxon (Official) and Saxon management.
