MOTORHEAD: ON THIS DATE WE LOST LEMMY KILMISTER

On this date back in 2015,   LEMMY KILMISTER, bassist, vocalist of British metal warriors MOTORHEAD died of cancer. 

 

 Found memories of MOTORHEAD shows and I got LEMMY'S autograph at a 1998 MOTORHEAD, DROPKICK MURPHIES show, LEMMY was very nice to the fans.

MOTORHEAD unleashed "LIVE AT THE MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL 2007", 6/16/2023 (DOUBLE CD) via SILVER LINING MUSIC. 

 MOTORHEAD unleashed "饾檸饾檧饾檷饾檮饾檴饾檺饾檸饾檱饾檾 饾棔饾棓饾棗 饾棤饾棓饾棜饾棞饾棖", unleashed 2/24/2023 via SILVER LINING MUSIC. 

 PHIL CAMPBELL and MIKKEY DEE, surviving members of British metal legends MOTORHEAD were at a ceremony at HELLFEST OPEN AIR 2022 for the unveiling of the LEMMY KILMISTER statue and enshrinement of his ashes. .

 LEMMY KILMISTER (IAN FRASER) passed away 12/28/2015 to cancer at 70. 

 MOTORHEAD unleashed the bands anticipated live release "CLEAN YOUR CLOCK", 5/27/2016 (CD/DVD/BLUE RAY) via UDR MUSIC. 

 MOTORHEAD released "BAD MAGIC", 8/28/2015 via UDR MUSIC.

Polish death metal warriors VADER have announced plans for 2025.





VADER are in the studio recording the bands anticipated new EP  "HUMANIHILITY", due to be unleashed SPRING 2025 (release date and more info T.B.A.).

The year 2024 is coming to an end. How was it for the band? As usual, it was very busy. We continued the 40th anniversary of Vader on tours in the USA/Canada and Europe. We played a few festivals in the summer - including Jarocin after 30 years of absence! At the end of August we returned to Grindstone Studio to record brand new material for an EP. We ended the year with the "Freezing Hell" tour, which went around the Baltic Sea. 2024 is also another year played with Michal Andrzejczyk behind the drums. A few months ago, Micha艂 also joined the happy endorsers of TAMA drums.
And what about plans for 2025? The new year will be even more intense. First of all, this spring will see the release of the completely new EP "Humanihility" since the release of "Solitude In Madness" in 2020, as well as the long-awaited reissue of the classic album "Black To The Blind" from 1997 in a new cover with the original cover by Jacek Wi艣niewski. Both titles will be released by Nuclear Blast. The recording session for the next full length Vader album will also start in the fall of 2025! Next year will also be Vader's return to the stages of summer festivals. And we will appear at 20 of them. 2025 will also be the 25th anniversary of the release of the album "Litany". Therefore, in the summer season, you will be able to hear the entire album as part of a concert set. Most of the songs from this classic album for the band have not been played since its premiere in 2000, and some have never been played. BANGER FILMS unleashed  METAL EVOLUTION, previewed on VH1 JANUARY 2014. BANGER FILMS METAL EVOLUTION (featured on VH 1 CLASSIC) have raised funds for a new episode featuring extreme metal including death, black and grind genres.





SAM DUNN, directed and narrated the metal documentaries METAL: A HEADBANGERS JOURNEY (2005) and GLOBAL METAL (2008), the first film, his thesis in Anthropology.

BANGER FILMS METAL EVOLUTION has been unleashed on VH1.

NEVERMORE: TO MAKE 2025 COMEBACK

Guitarist JEFF LOOMIS and drummer VAN WILLIAMS are teasing the return of Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. progressive metal warriors. NEVERMORE. 

 

 

 

NEVERMORE last unleashed  "The Obsidian Conspiracy" 6/8/2010 (NORTH AMERICA) and 5/31/2010 (EUROPE) via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS. 

 

NEVERMORE broke up in 2011. 

NEVERMORE vocalist WARREL DANE died 12/13/2017 .of a heart attack.
