Promoters for INFERNO METAL FEST 2027, set to take place 3/25th, 26th, 27th and 28th, 2027 ROCKEFELLER MUSIC HALL OSLO, NORWAY have confirmed DECAPITATED, FIRTAN, VOIDSPHERE and more bands.

INFERNO FEST 2027 have also confirmed  KAMPFAR, MGLA, TRELLDOM, ELLENDE, HELLRIPPER, RIUM, SHORES OF NULL, TOWARDS THE SINISTER, THE RUINS OF BEVERAST, SARKOM, HOULE,  CARCASS, ROTTEN SOUND, SWORN, NEDGRAVD, MYRVANDRER   and MORE METAL BANDS...

FROM INFERNO FEST NORWAY 2027 PROMOTERS:

Five new artists are confirmed for Inferno Metal Festival 2027. We are talking Polish death metal, German and Swiss black metal, and two new names from the Norwegian death metal underground. We give you Decapitated, Firtan, 𝓿𝓲𝓰𝓵𝓳𝓸́𝓼, Voidspire and Usurpation.
DECAPITATED
Decapitated are one of the major Polish death metal bands, alongside Behemoth and Vader. Since 1996, the band have been delivering uncompromising technical death metal of the highest order. Over these thirty years, they have released eight albums and developed in an increasingly distinctive direction, mixing in elements of grindcore, black metal and stoner rock to create a sound that clearly sets them apart from the crowd. We have to go all the way back to 2012 for the last time Decapitated played Inferno Metal Festival, so we are looking forward to a brutal reunion.
FIRTAN
Firtan are a German atmospheric black metal band who have been going strong since 2010. During that time, the band have released five albums and developed a distinctive sound where the raw energy of 1990s black metal meets melancholic melodies, progressive passages and a more yearning atmosphere. With acoustic guitars and electric violin, Firtan push their expression in an even more distinctive direction and create a sound that clearly stands out from the crowd. Firtan are part of our band exchange with the German festival Summer Breeze Open Air, who have selected the band to perform their very first show on Norwegian soil.
VÍGLJÓS
Black metal band Vígljós come from Switzerland and Germany and have so far released the albums «Tome I: Apidæ» and «Tome II: Ignis Sacer». The band swear by a lo-fi sound in the classic spirit of the 1990s. On top of that, they have a visual style unlike anything you have seen before. This could easily turn into one of those shows that will not be forgotten anytime soon. The band were due to perform at Inferno Metal Festival 2026, but unfortunately had to cancel, so we are very happy to have them back in the line-up. This could be something special.
VOIDSPIRE
Voidspire are a new Norwegian death metal band featuring members from Horrifier, Ruun, Blodkarsk and Celestial Scourge. So far, the band have only released the EP «Vacant Towers» in 2025, and it is good enough to make us very curious about what comes next. Voidspire’s atmospheric take on death metal stands out from the crowd, and the band could easily become one of the most interesting names in Norwegian death metal in the years ahead. This is one you do not want to miss.
USURPATION
Usurpation are a brand-new Norwegian death metal band from Trondheim. The band draw inspiration from early death metal and grindcore. Even though Usurpation are new, the members have experience from bands such as Bizarrekult and Keiser. So far, the band have not released anything, but their first track will arrive as early as November. This will therefore be one of the very first opportunities to see them live when they play Inferno Metal Festival 2027.
Inferno Metal Festival 25–28 March 2027
Carcass, Kampfar, Mgła, Decapitated, Master’s Hammer, Towards the Sinister, Arcturus, Trelldom, Blasphemy, Green Carnation, The Ruins of Beverast, Ruïm, Sarkom, Hellripper, Firtan, Ellende, Kraanium, Rotten Sound, Asagraum, Houle, Shores of Null, Sworn, Daeva, Kvaen, Lifesick, Split, Jordsjuk, Stigma Diabolicum, Bianca, Vígljós, Heimland, Nedgravd, Krapyl, Deadnate, Voidspire, Melting Brain Club, Oskaal, Myrvandrer, Blodmaane, Usurpation

FROM ARGONAUTA RECORDS:

Pantheist unveil full details of new album ‘Uncanny Times’ and premiere “The Final Journey”💥
Atmospheric doom masters Pantheïst have revealed the full details of their highly anticipated new album, ‘Uncanny Times’, set for release on October 30, 2026 via Argonauta Records. The album will be available as a deluxe double vinyl, CD and digital release, marking the band’s next major statement in their ongoing exploration of darkness, transcendence and the human condition.
Alongside the album announcement, Pantheist have unveiled the first track from ‘Uncanny Times’, “The Final Journey”, accompanied by an evocative new lyric video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPtUlZBxOnQ
According to Pantheist:
“The Final Journey is the track which set the tone of the whole album in motion. I wrote the music 15 years ago and then shelved it straight away in the hope I would find a vocalist who is worthy of singing it at some point in the future. My prayers were heard with Linda joining the band about a decade and a half later (you need to be very patient when you play doom metal). Once the lyric was written after a deep philosophical conversation with my friend Ricardo in Panama, the first and most decisive step towards ‘Uncanny Times’ was made with this huge, epic album opener.”
Built around a composition that had been waiting for its moment for fifteen years, “The Final Journey” became the catalyst for the album that followed. Epic, solemn and deeply atmospheric, the track opens ‘Uncanny Times’ with a sense of scale that perfectly introduces the journey through the record’s six compositions.
‘Uncanny Times’ tracklist:
The Final Journey
Laughing Falcon
Kuebiko
Entropy
Ithaca Out of Sight
Requiem for your World
With ‘Uncanny Times’, Pantheist continue to push the boundaries of atmospheric and funeral doom, embracing a vast, immersive sound where monumental heaviness meets reflection, melancholy and existential themes.
‘Uncanny Times’ will be released on October 30, 2026 via Argonauta Records on deluxe double vinyl, CD, digital formats and a label exclusive FAN EDITION ltd 100, preorders are up:
