Blow your trumpets, Tolmin, and brace yourself for the inferno that will haunt your postcard idyll in coming July. A monolith of extreme metal, a giant beast of musical mayhem is coming to town to bring darkness and destruction over the lovely valley of Soca and to destroy all unworthy forms of life at Metaldays. Well okay, it probably will not be that violent, but this description gives a rough estimation of the chaos that BEHEMOTH will unleash live on stage! There aren’t many bands that need as little introduction as this group from Poland and probably no extreme metal head in the world these days is able to live his everyday life without getting in touch with them. Many of their albums are considered masterpieces in death and black metal and not even the involuntary break a few years ago or the countless public controversies around the band were able to damage this standing - au contraire! The latest record “The Satanist” shows BEHEMOTH as strong as ever and with an ace like this an the hole, they surely will turn bright day into apocalyptic night at Metaldays 2015!

Blow your trumpets, Tolmin, und mach dich auf das Inferno gefasst, welches dich und dein Postkartenidyll im Juli heimsuchen wird. Ein Monolith des extremen Metals, ein gigantisches Biest des musikalischen Chaos nimmt Kurs auf die Stadt um Dunkelheit und Zerstörung über das liebliche Soca-Tal zu bringen und alle unwürdigen Lebensformen bei den Metaldays zu vernichten. Okay, ganz so krass wird es vielleicht nicht zugehen, aber diese Beschreibung gibt eine ungefähre Einschätzung der Show, die Behemoth auf die Bühne bringen werden! Es gibt wenige Bands, über die so wenig gesagt werden muss, wie über diese Truppe aus Polen und wahrlich kaum ein Fan des extremen Metals kam die letzten Jahre um sie herum. Viele ihrer Alben werden als Meisterwerke im Death und Black Metal-Bereich bezeichnet und nicht einmal die unfreiwillige Pause vor einigen Jahren oder die zahlreichen öffentlichen Kontroversen um die Band haben dieses Standing abgeschwächt - ganz im Gegenteil! Das neueste Album “The Satanist” zeigt BEHEMOTH kraftvoll wie eh und je und mit einem Ass wie diesem im Ärmel, werden sie bei den Metaldays 2015 sicherlich den hellichten Tag zur finsteren apokalyptischen Nacht machen.

Zatrobi na svoje trobente, Tolmin, in se pripravi na pekel, ki bo prihodnji julij oskrunil vaše idilične počitnice. Monolit ekstremnega metala, zver glasbenega kaosa prihaja v mesto in nad čudovito dolino Soče prinaša temo in uničenje. Vse nevredne oblike življenja bodo izbrisane. No, dobro ... tako zelo nasilno ne bo, vendar smo skušali dati približen opis kaosa, ki ga Behemoth sprostijo na odru. Na današnji sceni ni veliko skupin, ki bi potrebovale tako malo predstavljanja kot ti Poljaki in verjetno ni privrženca ekstremnega metala, ki še ni prišel v stik z njimi. Veliko njihovih albumov se šteje med mojstrovine black in death metala ter tudi neprostovoljni odmor pred nekaj leti ali neštete javne polemike niso škodile njihovemu ugledu. Prej nasprotno. Zadnji album "The Satanist" kaže BEHEMOTH močne kot kadarkoli prej. S takim asom v rokavu bodo na Metaldays 2015 gotovo jasen dan spremenili v apokaliptično noč.

Death Metal the Franco-Canadian way
For more than 15 years literally no death metal fan in the world has been able to get around this four-piece band and folks, who have never heard about the term “Northern Hyperblast” or songs like “Shadows And Dust” and “Ambassador Of Pain” should be kicked out of the death metal community immediately! KATAKLYSM from Montréal, Québec/Canada, will provide you with a lesson in how contemporary, massive and technical death metal is supposed to sound nowadays - and their latest studio record “Waiting For The End To Come” serves as a excellent proof for their standing! The name of the band is construed from the Greek word Kataklysmus, that the band describes as a “monomentous and violent event marked by overwhelming upheaval and demolition; (...) the end of the world as we know it.” Well, we don’t know if the whole world is about to go down during their show, but we are sure that KATAKLYSM will bring armageddon to Tolmin. Seit mehr als 15 Jahren kommt buchstäblich kein Death Metal-Fan der bekannten Welt um diese vier-köpfige Truppe herum und Leute, die noch nie vom “Northern Hyperblast” oder Songs wie “Shadows And Dust” und “Ambassador Of Pain” gehört haben, sollten sofort aus der Metal-Community gekickt werden. KATAKLYSM aus Montréal, Québec/Canada, werden euch eine Lehrstunde in Sachen zeitgemäßer, massiver und technischer Death Metal erteilen - ihr letztes Studio-Album “Waiting For The End To Come” ist der beste Beweis dafür! Der Name der der Band ist abgeleitet vom griechischen Wort Kataklysmus, den die Band als “ein folgenschweres, brutales Ereignis, das durch grundlegenden Umbruch und Zerstörung alles Vorhandenen gekennzeichnet ist; (...) das Ende der Welt wie wir sie kennen.” Wir wissen zwar nicht, ob die Welt während ihrem Auftritt untergehen wird, aber wir sind sicher, dass KATAKLYSM in Tolmin die Hölle auf Erden entfachen werden. Že več kot 15 let so Kataklysm skupina, ki je ne more spregledati praktično nobeden death metal privrženec na svetu. Tisti, ki še nikoli niso slišali za izraz "Northern Hyperblast" in skladbe, kot so "Shadows And Dust" in "Ambasador Of Pain", bi morali takoj vrniti svoj death metal potni list. Kvartet iz Montreala v Kanadi vam bo dal lekcijo iz sodobnega, masivnega in tehničnega death metala. Njihov zadnji studijski izdelek "Waiting For The End To Come" služi kot odličen učbenik njihovih glasbenih načel. Ime skupine je izpeljano iz grške besede Kataklysmus, ki jo fantje razlagajo kot: "monumentalen in nasilen dogodek zaznamovan z nemiri in rušenjem; (...) konec sveta kot ga poznamo." Cel svet se med njihovim nastopom v Tolminu verjetno ne bo sesul, vendar smo prpričani, da bodo Kataklysm v Tolmin prinesli armagedon. Molite za odrešitev in čakatajte, da pride konec.

In the middle of the eighties, when the members of the project S.O.D. were busy with their original bands again, Billy Milano decided to form his own band. A band, in which he would intertwine crossover, thrash and hardcore punk and throw in lyrics that he can use for insulting anyone he wants the way he wants. M.O.D. – short for Methods Of Destruction – was born! Their early years brought us material that is still considered as classics of the genre. Who has not gone crazy while listening to “Get A Real Job” or “No Glove No Love”? After many disbandings and reunions, Billy Milano assembled a new line up and started visiting Europe after quite a long time again. If you are looking for the band to mosh or relax to humorous metal without censorship at Metaldays 2015, then M.O.D. is the band for you. Billy and the guys always get their “real job” done!

Mitte der Achtziger, als die Mitglieder des S.O.D. Projekts wieder in ihren eigenen Bands tätig waren, hat Billy Milano sich entschieden, seine eigene Band zu gründen. Eine Band, die Crossover, Thrash und Hardcore Punk verknüpft, und dazu Lyrics, mit denen er jeden auf seine Art beleidigen kann. M.O.D. – die Abkürzung für Methods Of Destruction – war geboren! Die frühen Jahre brachten uns Material, das bis heute als Klassiker des Genres angesehen wird. Wer ist nicht zu "Get A Real Job" oder "No Glove No Love" ausgeflippt? Nach vielen Trennungen und Wiedervereinigungen hat Billy Milano ein neues Line-Up zusammen gestellt und kam nach langer Zeit wieder zurück nach Europa. Wenn du bei den Metaldays 2015 auf der Suche nach der Band bist, bei der du zu heiterem Metal ohne Zensur moshen oder relaxen kannst, dann ist M.O.D. genau die Band für dich. Sredi osemdesetih, ko so bili člani projekta S.O.D. spet zaposleni s svojimi matičnimi bandi, se je Billy Milano odločil formirati lasten band. Takšnega, v katerem se bo prepletal crossover thrash in hardcore punk ter z besedili, v katerih bo ozmerjal kogarkoli želi in kakor mu najbolj ustreza. M.O.D. oz. Methods Of Destruction so bili rojeni! Prva leta M.O.D. so prinesla material, ki še danes velja za klasiko žanra. Le kdo še ni norel ob “Get A Real Job” ali “No Glove No Love”? Po mnogoštevilnih prekinitvah delovanja M.O.D. je Billy Milano zbral novo zasedbo in po kar nekaj časa spet začel obiskovati Evropo. Vkolikor na Metaldays festivalu iščete band za mosh ali sprostitev ob humorju brez cenzure, potem so M.O.D. pravi naslov za vas. Billy in ekipa pač vedno opravijo svoj “real job”!

Not for epileptics!
“Warning: Do not consume this audio product if you have a tendency for straight order, 4/4 rhythms and epileptic reactions!” If advice labels would be mandatory on CDs and concert tickets, this is probably how all of OBSCURA’s products would be labeled. Uniting some of the most talented European (metal-) musicians, the band creates a deep, technical and breathtaking sound mix that set new levels in the genre of technical death metal during the last years. Being influenced by Death, Emperor and Dream Theater as well as numerous non-metal genres, OBSCURA quickly managed to gain a lot of attention with their first record “Retribution” and a tour as support for the legendary Suffocation. These first steps were followed by countless live shows around the whole globe and by their extremely high anticipated records “Cosmogenesis” and “Omnivium”. And even though longtime members Hannes Grossmann (drums) and Christian Münzner (guitars) recently decided to leave the band, we have no doubt that their show at Metaldays 2015 will be nothing less than a lesson for all metalheads, musicians and even neutral music fans.

Die Band, die seit jeher einige der talentiertesten (Metal-)Musiker Europas vereint, offenbart dem Hörer eine tiefgängige, technische und atemberaubende Soundlandschaft, die das Niveau des Technical Death Metal in den letzten Jahren auf ein neues Niveau gehoben hat. Beeinflusst durch Bands wie Death, Emperor und Dream Theater sowie zahlreiche nicht-metallische Genres, schafften es OBSCURA durch ihr Debüt-Album “Retribution” und eine Tour mit den legendären Suffocation schon früh, die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zu ziehen. Die ersten schnellen Schritte wurden gefolgt von zahlreichen Konzerten in allen Ecken der Welt und von den beiden Alben “Cosmogenesis” und “Omnivium”, die flächendeckend Höchstnoten abstaubten. Selbst wenn die beiden langjährigen Mitglieder Hannes Grossmann (Drums) und Christian Münzner (Gitarre) kürzlich beschlossen haben, die Band zu verlassen, erhoffen wir uns von OBSCURA bei den Metaldays nicht weniger als eine Lehrstunde für alle Metalheads, Musiker und selbst neutrale Musik-Liebhaber.

Zasedba združuje ene najbolj nadarjenih (metal) glasbenikov v Evropi, ki ustvarjajo globoko, tehnično in osupljivo zmes glasbe s katero uspešno premikajo mejnike žanra tehničnega death metala. Glasbeno so na njih vplivali Death, Emperor, Dream Theater in še mnogi ne-metalski izvajalci. OBSCURA so zelo hitro pritegnili pozornost že s prvencem "Retribution" in s turnejami na katerih so podpirali legende kot so Suffucation. Prvim korakom so sledili nešteti nastopi po celem svetu in nestrpno pričakovana albuma "Cosmogenesis" in "Omnivium" Čeprav sta pred kratkim zasedbo zapustila dolgoletna člana Hannes Grossmann (bobni) in Christian Münzner (kitara), smo prepričani, da bo njihov nastop na Metaldays 2015 nič manj kot lekcija za vse metalce, glasbenike in celo nevtralne ljubitelje glasbe.

MALEVOLENCE, one of the uprising British crossover bands is coming to Tolmin. Those newcommers have released their debut titled “Reign Of Suffering” on British label Siege Of Amida. Prior to that, they gained a lot of attention from hardcore and metal fans in their homecountry with their demo recordings. Explosive live performances, commitment to the good old riff and uncompromising approach have brought them international attention. They are bastard hybrid of Pantera, Biohazard, Hatebreed, Life Of Agony and Lamb Of God. Despite their youth they sound incredible, so get ready for mosh you will remember at Metaldays 2015.
