Ukrainian funeral doom metal warriors EGO DEPTHS have posted a trailer for the bands anticipated new release "DÝRTANGLE", due to be unleashed 12/2015 (release date T.B.A.) via DUSKTONE.EU RECORDS.

: Dyrtangle – name comes from an imaginary world and being a play of words, cannot be translated correctly through words. However, dyr is “a beast” in Old Norse language, and “tangle”, its English roots, sends us to “entanglement”. So litterally, but not even close enough, it means “in rough embrace of the beast”. Some similar notes may be found in coming of Indian Buddhism to Tibet, transforming the “beasts” or so-called “evil, wrathful deities” into the guardian of the fused, new Tibetan Buddhism. A long, long chapter has been finally finished. Look out, beware, watch your backs and be your own guard: feed the hungry ghosts or offer thy flesh to the worms. The fourth full-length will be released this December!
Continue to be surprised by the number of likes coming to this page during the past month, I would like to show the cover art for the upcoming album that was painted (!) by a very talented artist and a very good friend of mine, Monach (Монах). Surprising is the fact, that this extraordinary person felt the album atmosphere immediately and finished the painting in less than a week. And, just for a good measure, Монах played all the drums and a huge part of all other percussion used on the record, which is currently in the stage of intense mixing. -| Doom on —
