Romanian blackened/folk metal warriors NEGURA BUNGET have commented on the 10/30/2015 Colectiv nightclub fire tragedy in Bucharest, Romania as the band have stated they will donate all proceeds of their anticipated dates in Buzau, Cluj and Brasov to the victims of the Colectiv nightclub tragedy.

In the aftermath of the tragedy that hit the Romanian Metal scene the other day (fire at the Goodbye to Gravity album release party at Colectiv club in Bucharest, resulting in 30 people dead and hundreds severely injured) Negura Bunget members would like to express their deepest sympathy for the victims of the tragedy, who's aftermath will influence the Romanian scene forever. We were just performing a gig in Reykjavik (Iceland) when the first news about the events in Bucharest started spreading, and we witness all the details, the unbelievable high response triggered in the Romanian society (both on the good and bad sides) from distance. Coming back to Romania now, we’d like to get involved. Not only that we played our latest gig in Bucharest at Colectiv club, but we knew well quite a few people now among the victims and injured.
We will perform our upcoming gigs in Buzau, Cluj and Brasov as much as that is possible, and we will donate all the proceeds to the victims of this tragedy. We encourage everybody to do the same. In urma tragediei din clubul Colectiv, care va marca scena metal romaneasca pentru totdeauna, membrii formatiei Negura Bunget isi exprima solidaritatea cu victimele si apropiatii acestora. Primele detalii ale evenimentelor le-am primit chiar inainte de a incepe concetul nostru in Reykjavik (Islanda). Apoi am urmarit impietriti, de la distanta, intreaga desfasurare a acestora, precum si raspunsul impresionant pe care l-au starnit in societatea romaneasca (atat pozitiv, cat si negativ).
Revenind in tara, am vrea sa ne implicam si noi pe cat posibil. Nu numai ca am sustinut ultimul nostru concert din Bucuresti in clubul Colectiv, dar printre victime se numara numerosi prieteni si cunoscuti.
Vom sustine pe cat posibil concertele pe care le avem programate in weekendul urmator in Buzau, Cluj si Brasov, si vom dona toate beneficiile victimelor acestei tragedii. Incurajam pe oricine are posibilitatea sa faca la fel.
