WORSHIP: CANCEL WINTER 2016 EUROPEAN TOUR WITH MAJESTIC DOWNFALL

German funeral doom legends WORSHIP have CANCELLED the bands WINTER 2016 EUROPEAN tour with MAJESTIC DOWNFALL and OPHIS.

MAJESTIC DOWNFALL and OPHIS WILL continue their WINTER 2016 EUROPEAN tour without WORSHIP as a replacement band will be announced.

WORSHIP are set to release "DUSK OF LEGION, MORNING OF ONE", due to be unleashed in 2016 (release date T.B.A.) via WEIRD TRUTH (JAPAN). MORE INFO T.B.A.

It's full of regret that Roadmaster Booking announces that WORSHIP cancelled all their upcoming presentations at the 'Dusk of Europe Tour 2016', that should start next Sunday 21 February together with the Mexicans MAJESTIC DOWNFALL.
The agency is trying in collaboration with the respective promoters, to keep the concerts and find a replacement band. Interested artists (Death/Doom/Sludge) please get in touch with the agency through contact@roadmasterbooking.com

FROM WORSHIP:
I am extremely sorry to bring the following news: WORSHIP is not able to take part in the tour this month. The reason is: Our drummer had to cancel short-notice.
Our drummer wouldn't cancel easily (it's not like him at all), but there is at this moment a perfect storm of unsolvable problems on his personal/professional life, that in respect to him we prefer to don't expose.
We fought hard to make it happen ANYWAY, and it was looking good (we usually manage to pull off the craziest stunts). Then we got his cancelation, apparently the pile of problems broke him. We tried to fix things, but we found no way forward that could keep WORSHIP on this project.

We ask our sincere apologies to Daniel & Roadmaster Booking - our booking agency for this tour, who can only be praised for how great they worked all the time on this tour, and also how they are now dealing to this mess -, to all promoters involved, and MAJESTIC DOWNFALL. We are fighting to make the shows happen without WORSHIP, great bands will be there, MAJESTIC DOWNFALL all the way from Mexico, plus some a possible new replacement band (to fill the gap we leave). And we HOPE you will attend anyway and have a great night. Please check the event pages/venue/Roadmaster info for updated info for each show!

Rest assured that we will have to learn from this and change things so something bad like this won't happen again. We do feel the weight of this. My first canceled tour in 22 years of making music, and it feels reeeeeally bad, trust me. frown emoticon
And I am also highly aware that this is our 2nd recent fuck-up, next to my delayed album. BUT, if it is any consolation at all, I will use the unforseen available time to commit to FINISHING the album. Maybe some small redemption, I can use the days, my health has improved, and the huge feeling of guilt and sadness over the canceled gigs should be enough to drive me to complete this (now even darker) album.
