DARKEN THE MOON FESTIVAL will resume in 2021.
FROM DARKEN THE MOON FESTIVAL 2020 PROMOTERS:
Dear all,
It’s with a heavy heart that we had to decide to postpone this year’s edition of Darken The Moon, with such great bands as Clouds, Et Moriemur and Pilgrimage confirmed. A festival with bands whose members are living it 5 different countries it was too much of a risk, seeing how things are very uncertain at the moment regarding international travel. Next to that we still don’t know if we can organize any show at all in September. So better safe than sorry, we took the heavy decision to rethink our Darken The Moon festival. Since we were really proud of the bands we had already lined-up (and still in the pipeline), we decided to reschedule the whole event to -hopefully- a safe time next year. At the moment we are still looking for a suitable date to choose, so stay tuned (and safe obviously!).
For those kind people who already purchased an early bird ticket we will come with different options as soon as we have our new date fixed and confirmed!
Meanwhile we decided, together with our associates of GRIMM Gent, to come up with an alternative event, call it the Darken The Moon corona-edition if you like, with Belgian bands only, on the exact same place and date, Saturday 26th of 2020 in JH Asgaard, Ghent (Belgium). After all, our band Marche Funèbre still has a new album coming out that day!
