International collaborative metal project MMXX have announced vocalists MIKKO KOTAMAKI (SWALLOW THE SUN) and CARMELO ORLANDO (NOVEMBRE) .
More musicians for MMXX to be announced.
FROM MMXX:
Born during the initial lock down of Rome and New York City, and incubated as the seasons passed, MMXX is the sound of global pandemic isolation. Andrea Chiodetti channeled inspiration for composition after composition in collaboration with Jesse Haff and Egan O’Rourke. A geographically, culturally, and stylistically diverse collection of celebrated vocalists and musicians layered in their own perspective, culminating in this eclectic compendium of music reflecting an experience sadly understood by all.

Last week we announced MMXX, an international musical collaboration born during the initial of lock down of the pandemic, and incubated as the seasons passed. Numerous vocalists from around the world are part of the ensemble, and once a week we will reveal who they are.
Today we're proud to announce the first two:
Mikko Kotamaki from Finland. The powerful and dynamic vocalist from the legendary doom/death metal band Swallow the Sun takes the helm on the opening track "This Breath is Not My Breath." He shares some of the vocal duties on this song with a vocalist we'll reveal in the coming weeks.
Carmelo Orlando from Italy. Novembre are of course one of the revered early pioneers of melancholic metal, and Carmelo's distinctive vocals are instantly recognizable to fans. He sings on "Der Nukleus."
