OPHIS: "Unfortunately we can't bring you the good news we hoped for. After his initial trip to the hospital during our last tour, things got better. The medication worked and despite feeling a little shaky, Ole started rehearsing with us again. Up until last week, when the medications suddenly stopped working and the blood values dropped even lower than before. So it was back to the hospital, this time under life threatening conditions. It was frightening, to say the least!!"

FROM OPHIS:

This post is going to be a little longer, sorry...
We recieved a lot of messages from you, asking about Ole's status and if he is doing better. First of all, we want to thank you for caring and supporting! It was a great help and morale boost for Ole and the band!! You are great people and we really appreciate your friendship! 🖤🖤🖤
Unfortunately we can't bring you the good news we hoped for. It was frightening, to say the least!!
Fortunately Ole is a fucking Warrior and has more resilience in his middle finger than the rest of the band combined. He is now stable and back home. He and his doctors are now looking for a reliable medication that helps him to return to his normal life. It may take a while...
We are sure that you will understand that under such insecure conditions, we can not perform live. Ole's health is more important, and currently his status can switch quickly. We asked some friends to fill in for the upcoming Bremen gig, but no luck. So with a heavy heart, we have to cancel the festival show in Bremen on Dec 7th. Our apologies to everyone involved.
We will not play any shows in the next months and instead use the time for Ole to recover and to focus on writing new songs. The good news: we have written half of the new album.
Thank you all for your support. Stay healthy!!!
