WEST MEMPHIS THREE: DNA TESTING SENT OFF TO LAB

 

 

 

 In November, 2025, evidence in WEST MEMPHIS THREE case was sent to a lab for DNA testing as that might point to the real killers. 

 

 

 

DAMIEN ECHOLS, one of the WEST MEMPHIS THREE has stated that an Arkansas judge has ruled in FAVOR of genetic DNA testing of evidence regarding the 1993 ROBIN HOOD HILLS MURDERS. 

If the DNA evidence points towards someone else other than the WEST MEMPHIS THREE, DAMIEN ECHOLS,, JESSE MISSKELLEY and JAMES BALDWIN could be exonerated.

 

 DAMIEN ECHOLS, one of the WEST MEMPHIS THREE has stated that  "The state of Arkansas has ruled that they will not allow DNA testing to be done that could identify the murderer of Michael Moore, Christopher Byers, and Stevie Branch.". THE WEST MEMPHIS THREE ( DAMIEN ECHOLS,, JESSE MISSKELLEY and JAMES BALDWIN) had  a 6/23/2022 state of Arkansas hearing for a DNA PETITION. . 

 THE WEST MEMPHIS THREE, are petitioning the world for a FULL exoneration regarding their  ALFORD PLEA in relation to the 1993 ROBIN HOOD HILLS MURDERS in West Memphis Arkansas.. DAMIEN ECHOLS   has unleashed a new book entitled "Life After Death" and is working for a full exoneration after new tests on crime scene fibers have produced NO LINK to the WEST MEMPHIS THREE.

Evidence in West Memphis Three case sent to lab

November 12, 2025

Hairs, ligatures and possibly other evidence collected after three 8-year-old boys were murdered on May 5, 1993 in West Memphis has been sent to Bode Laboratories for advanced DNA testing. One of the three men prosecuted for the crime, Damien Echols, has petitioned the state for almost six years to do the testing.

Echols defense team member Lonnie Soury confirmed to Talk Business & Politics that the items have been sent to the lab, but no timetable for the testing has been released. Attempts by TB&P to contact 2nd Judicial District Prosecutor Sonia Hagood were unsuccessful.

The evidence is expected to be M-Vac DNA or touch DNA tested. M-Vac is a microbiological “vacuum” that can retrieve DNA more precisely than traditional DNA swabbing. The victims in the case – Michael Moore, Christopher Byers and Stevie Branch were “hogtied” ankle-to-wrist with their own shoelaces, and the hope is that the boys’ killer or killers left skin cells in the ligatures when they were tied.

This is the "fun one" on the record, it's about enjoying the good moments in this life with your friends and loved ones, what life is all about, beyond the bleakness of the day to day. I felt heavily inspired after my trip on 70000 Tons of Metal this year and realized I wanted an anthem of celebration to juxtapose the darkness throughout the album. In an album filled with death and despair, I needed a reminder of what we're living for and its truly a message from the heart. May this be your new doomy, folky, metal party anthem!

Dear friends and followers, we're glad to present In Ruins new album 'We Are all To Perish'.

The band’s first full-length album, 'We Are All To Perish', features Urmuz (vocals, guitars, bass) and St. Oliver (drums) and represents a clear move toward funeral doom metal.

The concept for the album emerged in 2024, when St. Oliver discovered the work of Russian poet Serghei Eesenin.

After careful selection, four of Esenin’s poems were chosen and served as the primary source of inspiration for Urmuz’s compositions.

Spanning more than forty minutes, the album guides the listener through a dense landscape of emotions and contemplations focused on mortality and the inevitability of death.

To reinforce this atmosphere visually, the CD cover artwork depicts Serghei Esenin after his suicide, referencing the poet’s final act of writing a poem in his own blood.

The album will be released on March 13th as CD Audio Digipack 6-panels format!

 PERRY BAMONTE, guitarist and keyboardist for British alternative goth rock legends THE CURE passed away after a short illness at 65.

“Perry Archangelo Bamonte 1960-2025

It is with enormous sadness that we confirm the death of our great friend and bandmate Perry Bamonte who passed away after a short illness at home over Christmas. Quiet, intense, intuitive, constant and hugely creative, ‘Teddy’ was a warm hearted and vital part of The Cure story.

‘Looking after the band’ from 1984 through 1989, he became a full time member of the Cure in 1990, playing guitar, six string bass and keyboard on the Wish, Wild Mood Swings, Bloodflowers, Acoustic Hits and The Cure albums, as well as performing more than 400 shows over 14 years.

He rejoined the cure in 2022, playing another 90 shows, some of the best in the band’s history, culminating with the show of a lost world concert in London 1st November 2024.

Our thoughts and condolences are with all his family. He will be very greatly missed.”

The wait is over! Over four years have passed since Italian doom/black metal veterans Abysmal Grief released their latest studio record, Funeral Cult of Personality. The Italian band has been extremely active nonetheless, releasing several compilations and live albums via Avantgarde Music, and it’s now time to announce their new full length album: Taetra Philosophia!

Taetra Philosophia sees Abysmal Grief back to the original three piece lineup after twelve years as a quartet, consisting in Regen Graves (guitars and drums), Labes C. Necrothytus (keyboards and vocals) and Lord Alastair (bass). Its seven songs were written and recorded along four years at Chrismon Studio, then mixed in one single take by Regen Graves and Emanuele Cioncoloni in Genoa, at ElFish Studio.

With a picture by Simone Salvatori (Spiritual Front, Morgue Ensemble) as front art, Abysmal Grief’s Taetra Philosophia will be available worldwide on CD, LP, tape and digital December 12th via Avantgarde Music.
