This historic tour edition is one of its kind, designed to take the festival beyond a single location and into multiple communities across Botswana. It offers touring international bands a rare opportunity to engage directly with local audiences, fostering cultural exchange and deep musical interaction throughout the country. The line-up is steadily building and already features @Vigljos (Switzerland), Overthrust (Botswana), Remuda rock band (Botswana) and Raven In Flesh, with more acts to be announced. Scheduled for 28–31 May 2026, the tour’s main event will take place in Ghanzi, the home ground of Overthrust and the birthplace of Overthrust Winter Metal Mania Fest itself.     Ten years ago today we lost  LEMMY KILMISTER, (bassist, vocalist of British metal warriors MOTORHEAD) ... 

    Raise a glass in honer of the late MOTORHEAD bassist/vocalist LEMMY KILMISTER who loved his fans. 

     

     

    LEMMY KILMISTER, (bassist, vocalist of British metal warriors MOTORHEAD)  was unveiled in his hometown of BURSLEM, ENGLAND. 

     

    MOTORHEAD unleashed "LIVE AT THE MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL 2007", 6/16/2023 (DOUBLE CD) via SILVER LINING MUSIC. 

     MOTORHEAD unleashed "𝙎𝙀𝙍𝙄𝙊𝙐𝙎𝙇𝙔 𝗕𝗔𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗖", unleashed 2/24/2023 via SILVER LINING MUSIC. 

     PHIL CAMPBELL and MIKKEY DEE, surviving members of British metal legends MOTORHEAD were at a ceremony at HELLFEST OPEN AIR 2022 for the unveiling of the LEMMY KILMISTER statue and enshrinement of his ashes. .

     LEMMY KILMISTER (IAN FRASER) passed away 12/28/2015 to cancer at 70. 

     MOTORHEAD unleashed the bands anticipated live release "CLEAN YOUR CLOCK", 5/27/2016 (CD/DVD/BLUE RAY) via UDR MUSIC.
