ITP V.025 SPORTS: PETE ROSE and "SHOELESS" JOE JACKSON REINSTATED TO MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL

Deceased baseball legends PETE ROSE and "SHOELESS" JOE JACKSON have been reinstated back into Major League Baseball and are now eligible for the MLB HALL OF FAME.

PETE ROSE was banned from baseball for betting on the sport.

"SHOELESS" JOE JACKSON was banned from baseball for throwing the world series to betters in the early 1900's.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred removed Pete Rose, "Shoeless" Joe Jackson and other deceased players from Major League Baseball’s permanently ineligible list.

Manfred ruled that MLB’s punishment of banned individuals ends upon their deaths. They are now presumably eligible for election into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
