This video was made for the title track of the upcoming album. We filmed it in October 2016. It was pretty cold, even freezy, and when we started shooting, it suddenly began snowing. We didn't plan smth out-of-this-world in this video, everything was done on the spot. There is no particular plot in it, we just tried to reflect the mood of the song, and snow as well as black and white picture created the needed atmosphere and made the video expressive.
I'd like to say thank you to guys, who took part in the video. You did really good job, though the day was so damn cold and gloomy. The result is pretty good.

WITCHERY guitarist Jensen comment about “Welcome, Night” as follows: "On "I Am Legion" we have tried a few things that Witchery never has done before. "Welcome, Night", with its odd timing, atypical arrangement and with riffs that are meant to enhance the vocals/lyrics (and not the other way around as per usual) makes the song probably my favorite track on the album. I like how the lyrics turned out too. They might lead you to think about a certain infamous incident in history, but I chose to place it in "the year 1855" to distance the song from that, yet keeping it in the same Victorian setting. I got a question from a journalist if the lyrics somehow were about "the Devil's footprints" that happened that specific year. They're not connected, but I can recommend looking up that particular incident. Pretty interesting. Please enjoy the contribution of our two great friends - Nick Barker's spoken word and Mike Wead's solo - in the song as well!"

Lyrically, it speaks of the seduction of the human mind and spirit, the ultimate destruction of the life cycle of the one being seduced. Indeed, this track sets the mood for the violent darkness that follows."

ITP V.017 UPDATE:

ITP's V.017 author is saddened and heartbroken to hear of yesterdays horrid (terrorist attack?) in New York City.
An immigrant on a diversity (lottery) visa ran over cyclists and pedestrians in lower Manhattan killing 8 and injuring more before he was shot (not dead) by the police..






Restrictive gun control laws in New York reduced this terrorist douche to just a pellet and paint gun. 











Condolences and healing vibes to all affected by this horrid tragedy as this is considered the worst terrorist attack in New York since 9/11/2001.
