NERO DI MARTE: REVEAL "DERIVAE" RELEASE DATE & TRACKLIST

Italian death metal warriors NERO DI MARTE have revealed the RELEASE DATE & TRACKLISTING for the bands anticipated new release "DERIVAE", due to be unleashed 10/27/2014 (UK/EU) and 10/28/2014 (NORTH AMERICA) via PROSTHETIC RECORDS.

NERO DI MARTE unleashed a crowd funded split with VOID OF SLEEP, "MMXIV", 7/31/2014 (SELF RELEASED) and the bands self titled debut 3/18/2013 via PROSTHETIC RECORDS.

FROM NERO DI MARTE:

Acclaimed Italian atmospheric/progressive metal quartet NERO DI MARTE will release their sophomore effort “Derivae” via Prosthetic Records on Oct. 27 (UK/EU), Oct. 28 (North America) and and Nov. 1(G/A/S).

“Derivae” consists of seven aggressive yet ethereal tracks which the band describes as “claustrophobic, hypnotic, dark, and tragic,” which contribute to the album’s overall theme of being lost and letting go, allowing ones’ self to be swayed by the unknown. Having spent three years perfecting the album, NERO DI MARTE returned to Studio73 (Ephel Duath, Void of Sleep) — where they recorded their acclaimed self-titled debut — with Riccardo “Paso” Pasini to record “Derivae” using only analog without any sort of digital post-processing or drum triggers in order to expand the dynamics in the band’s playing.
