EYEHATEGOD: JOEY LACAZE CAUSE OF DEATH REVEALED

JOEY LACAZE, (DRUMMER) of New Orleans, Louisiana sludge/doom metal legends EYEHATEGOD cause of death has been revealed as "respiratory failure, from asthma". JOEY LACAZE passed away Saturday after noon (8/23/2013) at 42 years old.

EYEHATEGOD were confirmed for a 25th anniversary fall 2013 U.S. tour.

EYEHATEGOD unleashed "New Orleans Is the New Vietnam" (2012-SINGLE) via A389 RECORDINGS.
EYEHATEGOD unleashed "99 miles of Bad Road" (EP) via 2+2=5 RECORDS and the bands most recent full length release "Confederacy Of Ruined Lives" 10/3/2000 via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS.

Check out the classic EYEHATEGOD release "Take As Needed for Pain" (1993) via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS.

Joseph M. LaCaze, New Orleans native and drummer for EyeHateGod, Mystick Krewe of Clearlight and Outlaw Order
passed away on Aug. 23rd in New Orleans after a very successful five week UK and European tour w/ EHG.
He also performed ceremonial voodoo drumming and in numerous solo experimental electronic projects.
Doctors confirmed to family members the cause as respiratory failure. He also suffered from severe long term asthma.
