ITP V.013 SOCIAL JUSTICE: AGE MINIMUM FOR CIGARETTES RAISED TO 21 IN NY CITY

Yep, you read that right. In NYC, New York, smokers will have to be 21 and up to buy a pack of cigarettes.
In an effort to curb and discourage younger smokers, NYC, NY (USA) Mayor Bloomberg will sign a landmark legislation today raising the legal age to purchase cigarettes from 18 to 21.

Libertarians are unhappy, health insurance carriers are ecstatic and the tobacco industry are in denial of why the additives in cigarettes are addicting enough to provoke lawsuits.
