SUPPORT MUSIC, NOT RUMORS: ..Most of the biggest mouths running don't support extreme metal, EXTREME METAL, not mall rock or mall core..
Regarding DOWNLOAD 2014, while a major hard rock fest, "HARD ROCK" being the operative words, ITP V.013's author has no interest in DOWNLOAD FEST and doesn't promote the garbage that gets booked on that fest. If you read REVOLVER, have yet to grow pubes and haven't grown out of your tennybopper phase, maybe you would dig that. I prefer TERRORIZER and extreme metal. With the exception of quality performances from DEVILDRIVER, MACHINEHEAD, FAITH NO MORE and a few other bands whom spurred good circle pits, I have no interest, mainstream mall crap.
As a music journalist, what I really have a problem with is metal media spreading rumors as fact, when 2 kids with a propensity to hashtag, and photoshop the DOWNLOAD flyer started a futile campaign to replace mall rock with mall core, lame. METAL SUCKS, METAL HAMMER and a few unreliable sources, naming, inaccurately a band that is not booked on the fest (whom suck anyway, even by extreme metal standards) as fact when it is a rumor, not confirmed by DOWNLOAD promoters.METAL SUCKS has received complaints on their comments section "TMZ of metal" regarding out of context entries, stirring the pot and spreading false rumors. METAL HAMMER are notorious for promoting rumors and provoking conflict to sell copy, ask PHIL ANSELMO regarding his comments, and the context of such regarding the ABBOTT brothers.
THIS IS DOWNLOAD 2014's CURRENT LINEUP as announced by the promoters, not some idiot in some horrid metal/core act, not some idiot trying to stir some bias writing for some metal gossip webzine:
AVENGED SEVENFOLD, ROB ZOMBIE, LINKIN PARK, FALL OUT BOY, ALTER BRIDGE, AEROSMITH, more TBA.
..Not my thing, (although I've seen ROB ZOMBIE and AEROSMITH ,quality and good live shows) although mall/CORE nor most death/CORE isn't my thing either.

#DL2014 For QUALITY METAL, NOT MALL CORE, half of the aforementioned bands have laid waste to everything at DOWNLOAD in previous years, pioneered genre or/and sub genres of metal. Half of the aforementioned bands are from the UK and have this year, and will next year drop tasty morsels of good releases on us.
Any other rumors regarding crappy mall core or death-core bands, they will only be cleaning the porto potties or buried underneath the stage.
BTW, support ENDA (EMPLOYMENT, NON DISCRIMINATION ACT) , a bill forbidding discrimination against the LGBT community, as the bill passed in the U.S. SENATE 64-32 and off to the next round in the U.S. House Of Representatives.

Good news, most of the primary and substantial editing (primarily videos) of ITP V.013 is done, just a few minor tweaks here and there. Another round of editing for spelling, grammatical errors and more extensive leads will be done next year, as I'm going to resurrect the metal news features ect. in NOVEMBER, including REVIEWS.
Yes, I said REVIEWS.. Music industry be damned (SOPA, RIAA, and DMCA) and I have alot interesting stories about the DMCA from mostly major labels. So far, so good, :looks over shoulder: I beat the servers deadline, editing 3 months of journal entries a day. It was painful, and sorry if I edited anything anyone liked,I was super aggressive with the editing process, specifically late at night, while tired and impatient. Listening to metal while editing, helped ease the pain and panic of the editing process. Thanks for all of your patience as that is the best I can do.
