FROM GWAR:
The 6th Annual GWAR B-Q was held this weekend in beautiful Richmond, Virginia. All Bohabs lucky enough to survive the event are in agreement; this was the best GWAR B-Q ever! Fans from across the globe made their way to Hadad’s Lake in Richmond to celebrate the 30th Birthday of intergalactic shock rock giants….GWAR!
The 3-day weekend of destruction and debauchery started off at The National with the B4BQ, featuring blistering performances from Coal Chamber, Fear Factory and every band from The Summer Slaughter Tour. After the show, hundreds of Bohabs kept the party going at GWAR’s own watering hole, the one and only GWARbar!
The weekend’s main event took place on Saturday, August 15th, under crystal clear skies at Hadad’s Lake. The water was cool, and the Oderus Ale was flowing like hot, delicious piss! In an uncharacteristic act of compassion, our Lords and Masters offered free GWATER to the delirious, heat stroking Bohabs, and this was no Woodstock...there were more than enough chemical toilets for all the pee pee and poo poo!
Riding high on the momentum from The GWAR B-Q, the Intergalactic Overlords are set to hit the road next week. The tour begins August 25th in Millvale, PA and ends September 19th in Toronto. Support on the tour will come from Butcher Babies and label-mates Battlecross, and this run will see the band playing all three Riot Fest dates (Denver, Chicago, Toronto) and the Befuddled Fest in New Albany, IL. Tickets for these dates are on sale now!
Following their appearance at the final Riot Fest in Toronto, GWAR will return to their arctic slumber for less than a month before they return to finish the desecration of the North American continent. This time, the band will be joined by Born of Osiris and once again their friends in Battlecross. This leg of the tour kicks off October 7th in Cincinnati, OH and wraps up November 28th in Orlando, FL. For the Canadian dates on the tour direct support will come from Cryptopsy. More dates will be added in the coming weeks, so don’t worry if your Intergalactic rock gods have yet to announce a date in your town. Tickets for these Fall shows go on sale Friday August 21st, but if you are a member of the GWAR Fan Club, you can get your tickets starting today direct from your Overlords at a reduced ticket processing fee by clicking the logo below or visiting gwar.missiontix.com.

GWAR promises an all new show that cannot be missed. All human scum are commanded to attend each and every show of the tour! So tell your bosses, spouses and screaming rug rats to suck it! Dedicate your life to GWAR!
The band is keeping the gory details of the show tightly under wraps, but guitarist Pustulus Maximus seems hell bent on leaking some information about what to expect…
”I have yet to grasp this concept of the internet and the spouting of self-important speeches by people in social media; the INTERNET MUST DIE, so GWAR will KILL IT!. Management tells me the internet is not a person that can be fought and killed, but they don’t know the true power of a Scumdog. WE KILL EVERYTHING!”
