ITP V.016 ONLY ONE PER COFFIN: THREE MEMBERS OF COUNTERFLUX KILLED IN CAR CRASH IN DAYTON, OHIO

Yesterday, three members (and one friend) of DAYTON, OHIO local nu metal band COUNTERFLUX were killed in a car crash when a car going the wrong way down interstate 75 collided with COUNTERFLUX members vehicle in DAYTON, OHIO.

COUNTERFLUX unleashed many self released demos.

ALSO, all members of UK indie rock band VIOLA BEACH have perished in a van accident at a bridge as the bands vehicle went over a bridge into a canal in SWEDEN.

I'm sure most of you have heard by now, but for those of you who haven't, we lost Earl, Kyle, and Devin early this morning. There's nothing worse than losing friends, family or otherwise. These guys became like brothers to Matt and myself. Our hearts and prayers go out to their families, no parent should ever have to go through this, ever.
These guys loved you, the fans, the friends, the family. And to honor them Matt and I have decided to finish the Album we started together. It will be a last Hoorah and one of the best things we can think of to honor our lost brothers.

Please when you're out at the bar, whether your playing a show, checking out a show or what have you, take a designated driver if you plan to drink, or call a cab. Your actions and choices affect more than just you and though a totaled car can be replaced a life cannot.

We are putting a memorial/benefit concert in place to honor those that lost their lives in the tragic 75 accident over the weekend. All proceeds from the benefit concert will go directly to the families of those we lost. The concert which will celebrate their lives will be held at WO Wright's on Saturday, January 27th. We will be having a 50/50 raffle, and will also be collecting items from local businesses and individuals that would like to contribute to be auctioned off throughout the night. We are also looking for the very best photographs that you may have to feature in a slideshow throughout the night. If you have any great photos please send them to myself or Matt Connelly Additionally, if you have ever performed with or shared the stage with CounterFlux at any time and would like to volunteer your time and perform at the event just get with me ASAP. Thanks in advance, and please share this with anyone that may be interested that I don't personally have on my friends list.
