TURM AM HANG will see the light of day on January 27th 2017 at Northern Silence Productions (CD version) Iron Bonehead Productions (LP version). HORN's eighth studio album was inspired by the German folk song „Es ist ein Schnitter“ (17. century), the lansquenets, wars of the past, tribalism and the spirit of masculinity. Stylistically, the songs seamlessly blend in with the Feldpost material (2015) with clean and harsh vocals taking turns in conveying the nine mid-tempo songs solely performed in German.

Having worked hard over the years to forge a unique sound that's a sublime blend of Indian classical music rooted in ancient spirituality and extreme metal encompassing death metal, black metal and thrash metal music, Rudra have influenced many and more importantly, have set standards. Unheralded overlords of Asia, Rudra have a cult following that remains mysteriously loyal, as they hone a sound that's probably unparalleled. Their latest album, again founded on the principles of Hindu spirituality, extemporizes on the conventional extreme metal template and achieves hitherto unknown sonic effects. Industrial music pioneer Circle of Dust has announced a new full-length studio album titled Machines of Our Disgrace, due December 9th, after a near 20 year hiatus. Created by artist/producer Klayton, best known for his multi-genre project Celldweller, Circle of Dust returns to Klayton’s industrial roots with metal riffs, pulsing electronics and catchy songwriting. The album will be available for pre-order on November 18th.
Returning for the project's 5th full-length album, Circle of Dust pushes the envelope in fusing modern metal and electronic production with gritty industrial noise & samples on Machines of Our Disgrace. Klayton incorporates both aggressive and melodic vocals with thought provoking lyrics about man’s technological evolution, with songs like “Contagion” and the title track “Machines of Our Disgrace” questioning our relationship with technology while “alt_Human” and “Neurachem” explore the world of biohacking and genetic modification. The tracks “Hive Mind” and “Humanarchy” provide commentary on man’s place in modern society’s political and scientific moral ambiguity. The emotionally charged “Outside In” shows Circle of Dust's softer side in a heart-gripping track with lush harmonies, acoustic guitars, pulsing sound design and introspective lyrics.

The first big batch of bands confirmed for BA 2017 is here! Let's start first with bands, that were forced to cancel their appearance this year but will come to play for You in 2017: ELECTRIC WIZARD, NILE and TERROR. While ELECTRIC WIZARD are the best stuff the drug-infused sabbathian doom has to offer, NILE helped to reshape death metal with new themes and energy by the turn of the millenium and TERROR are years proven veterans of the HC scene!
But the other bands also do not need any introduction! AUGUST BURNS RED will bring their powerful metalcore, AMORPHIS will present their unique transformation from old school death metal to their distinctive melodic take on the genre, GADGET will bring blasting swedish grindcore and MAYHEM will play the legendary De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas in its entirety! MORBID ANGEL have reunited with the charismatic frontman Steve Tucker and will play our festival after quite a long hiatus, needles to say this lineup has set up very high expectation from the fans from all over the world!
Returning to our fest are NERVOSA, this all-female thrash power trio is raging with typical Brazilian fury while different take on the genre will be presented by SACRED REICH, who will debut on our fest and who despite not making it into the big four are a genre classic! Next band on the list SWANS are a band that needs to be witnessed. Avantgarde rock group revolving around Michael Gira has a new album out and this tour will be the last in the current lineup, that witness the band in the best shape and productivy during their carrer. The last band on this list is the band that made the most of the combination of old thrash and modern approach to metal - TRIVIUM.

První velká várka potvrzených kapel na BA 2017 je tady! Začneme kapelami, které vloni čertužel musely svá vystoupení na posledních chvíli zrušit, ale přijedou pro vás zahrát letos: ELECTRIC WIZARD, NILE a TERROR. Zatímco ELECTRIC WIZARD představují to nejlepší z drogově laděného sabbathovského doom metalu, NILE svým egyptologickým pojetím pomohli na přelomu milénia nalít novou energii do vyčerpávajícího se death metalu a TERROR jsou léty prověřenou HC stálicí.
Ani další kapely z této várky nepotřebují příliš představovat; AUGUST BURNS RED přivezou našlapaný metalcore, AMORPHIS svůj alternativní pohled na melodický death metal, GADGET sypající švédský grindcore a MAYHEM, kteří zahrají speciální set k legendárnímu debutnímu albu De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas. Dále se na náš festival po mnoha letech vracejí MORBID ANGEL, jejichž výkony v nové sestavě opět se Stevem Tuckerem očekává celý metalový svět!
NERVOSA představuje dívčí thrash plný brazilské zběsilosti a stejnému žánru holdují také SACRED REICH, kteří sice nepatřili do velké čtyřky, ale jsou thrashovou klasikou pro znalce žánru. Další na seznamu, SWANS, jsou kapela, která se musí zažít. Avantgardní uskupení vedené charismatickým Michaelem Girou se po vydání aktuální desky chystá na poslední turné v současné sestavě, která posledních sedm let přinášela kapele největší úspěch a plodnost v její historii. Poslední na tomto seznamu jsou TRIVIUM, jedna z mnoha mladých kapel kombinujících thrash s moderním pojetím metalu a nutno říci, že jsou také kapelou, která to s touto kombinací dotáhla nejdál!
