Hey all,
A bit of an update on the new record, as well as the band in general is in order.
In 2012, writing for Laniakea began, finally releasing in 2015. Since then we've been pushing pretty hard to build up a catalog of music for you guys, with the 72 minute monolith that was Tæther releasing in 2016 and now Velothi in the works.

Truth is we haven't stopped, and while by no means are we burning out, the grind is ever-present. After 5 years it's time we started to tone things down and relax a little to allow other areas of our lives to grow. Maintaining and building any band is an endeavor, and as we've grown older and busier, members coming and going with different schedules, that has become harder.
We are NOT splitting up, nor going on hiatus, but things are going to slow down a little from here on out, at least for now.. There are only so many hours in a day.
That said we promised you guys a record, and a record you shall get..
Velothi, which was originally planned as a short EP to release late this year, will INSTEAD be released as a FULL-LENGTH sometime in 2018 - Same format/lore/track list, longer and more in depth tracks - in return for waiting a little longer.
We hope you guys can understand where we're coming from, this gives us more time to refine something something bigger and better on a slightly more lax schedule, and allows us to do human things with our lives too, an oft neglected liberty.
We'll still be releasing the first song from Velothi on September 1st, and playing our ONLY show for a very long time on the same day (event link below), so come out and see us alongside some of our good friends!
