Swedish death metal warriors VOMITORY have commented on the bands one off reunion show at 2017 SUMMER BREEZE OPEN AIR.
VOMITORY unleashed "OPUS MORTUS VIII", 4/25/2011 via METAL BLADE RECORDS.
VOMITORY disbanded in 2013.
FROM VOMITORY:
On Wednesday 16th of August, at Summer Breeze Open Air in Germany, we did what we never thought we would ever do again - played a Vomitory show.
We did this to honour the memory of a man that we owe so much - Michael Trengert.
Michael Trengert - or simply "T" - was the label manager for Metal Blade Records Europe for many years, he was the one who signed us in 1999 and he was also in charge for Summer Breeze Open Air until his tragic passing in 2013.

Summer
Breeze - an amazing festival where we've played three times before -
celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, and held a special Trengert
tribute - the T-party - with surprise acts on Wednesday at the aptly
named T-stage. We never hesitated when we got the request from Summer
Breeze to do a one-off reunion for this special occasion.
Vomitory is not reuniting. This was a one show only, and the band is safe back in its grave again. Thanks to the great staff att Summer Breeze, the Metal Blade Records family, the amazing Dieter "Heavy-D" Bossaerts and to all the great fans that attended the show!
Thanks-Stay Metal, Stay Brutal-\m/ -l-
