GORGON : Unveil the cover image, final tracklist and further details of the highly anticipated new album "Elegy".
At the gates of 2019, southern winds will bring darkness upon the lands. Telling forgotten stories still untold, three years after their debut album "Titanomachy", GORGON are ready to unleash a sandstorm of violence, occultism and misery with their highly anticipated second album "Elegy".
"Elegy" will see the light of day on the very first days of January 2019, containing the most tragic and epic tracks ever
produced by the band, engineered by Finnish producer Jussi Kulomaa (Whispered, Frosttide, Lordi...)
Vocalist/songwriter Paul Thureau states:
“This new album is called - Elegy - and is the result of three long years of songwriting. Our new direction has definitely changed, as we aimed to a more mature and dark aspect in our music and art in general - but you’ll find some familiar elements from our previous works as well. Lyrically and musically, each song of the album is unique and has its own story, but they’re all connected by the idea behind this concept album - we’ll unveil more about it soon.”
The cover artwork was also designed by band’s vocalist Paul Thureau:
“For this release, I wanted something special and personal. The overall soundscape of the record is huge and colossal, but it also gives the listener a very intimate feeling - so I felt like taking care of every artistic aspect for - Elegy - was the right thing to do.”
On November 26th, GORGON will unveil their first single ‘Of Divinity and Flesh’ with a brand new music video.
