SHINING: LAUNCH "THE SINISTER INITIATIVE" RECORD LABEL

Swedish depressive black metal warriors SHINING have launched their own record label "THE SINISTER INITIATIVE" as vocalist NIKLAS KVARFORTH has started an official INSTAGRAM account.

Firstly the Big News. Today we can announce that Shining founder and frontman Niklas Kvarforth has been working in secrecy on a project that will most certainly play a major role in whatever might lie ahead for the future of the band.
Here is a statement about it from Niklas:

"The Sinister Initiative is an institution that will act uncompromisingly towards the rest of the industry. We will not be doing anything half-assed, nor will we bow down to anyone or anything. Although I am the driving force behind this label, we are three in total, and together, over the past ten months, we have forged a plan behind closed doors on how to fuck up the world with both style and elegance. We are not interested in signing any band as we have already come to an agreement with the few we do support already. More news will follow shortly."

Secondly, Niklas, who as you all know loathes Social Media and doesn't even have a Facebook account, is now on Instagram. This is something he has been forced to do because of all the assholes pretending to be him, or pretending to run pages on his behalf. We have just received this photo from Niklas Kvarforth confirming that he has signed the first 200 copies of the "Oppression" Digi CD which will be shipped out at the end of the month and can be ordered from www.shininglegions.com

As we previously announced, Kvarforth is actually running his own Instagram now, and although we all thought it wouldn't be possible, believe it or not, he seems to do just fine. Follow his activities @kvarforth213
