Since the beginning of her career, Danish musician and actress Amalie Bruun (Myrkur's real name) has had to deal with all sorts of enmities as her music was just too open on all fronts. MYRKUR's music may be rooted in black metal, but the singer has always seen beyond all boundaries, incorporating elements from folk music, psychedelia and post rock alike. As you can see, MYRKUR offer a large bandwidth – now let them convince you of their class in Dinkelsbühl. The doom beatherage from the high north have not been in dinkelsbühl for a long time yet, but since they have another fantastic ep with 'Odn' 2019, we had to commit hamferð just for the summer. You know, when the faroe islands are on stage, there is a fascinating atmosphere in the blink of a jiffy, which you can't avoid. The Dark-death compositions with the fine melodies unfold their full effect in the darkness, so that you can already look forward to a accordingly late show of the gentlemen.

The doom death ensemble from far up north haven't been our guests in Dinkelsbühl for what seems like an eternity, but since they released another fantastic EP with 2019's 'Ódn', we just had to book HAMFERÐ for this summer. You know, when the Faroese take to the stage, a fascinating atmosphere originates immediately, and there is no escaping it. The somber, death metal tinged compositions with fine melodies unfold their full potential in the dark, so you can already look forward to a very late show by these gentlemen.
Vive la France! When black metal and post hardcore enter a razor-sharp liaison, the end result is called DÉLUGE. Bienvenue! With their music, the Frenchmen create a freezing cold atmosphere first, like the dreaded calm before the storm, only to subsequently batter you at breakneck speed with thunderous drums and destructive riffs. Distant thunder and a dark expectation, an all-destroying storm and then absolute calm. You get the full black metal treatment with a dose of hardcore thrown in for good measure. Are you ready? Thrashers FINAL BREATH have returned with a bang titled 'Of Death And Sin'. This means in August they'll be on stage live in Dinkelsbühl!
Before they took a long hiatus, the Franconians were common guests on German stages. In 2018 they suddenly came back from the dead with a killer album which slays from back to front. Dynamic thrash metal songs with the ideal portion of melody and an incredible power quickly make us forget the years of silence surrounding FINAL BREATH. What a comeback! Press and fans alike were extatic, now the Franconians are ready to show you all at SUMMER BREEZE that there's still a lot of life left in them. If you're into straight-forward thrash, you shoul really not miss this...
Did anybody say hellfire? Or blackened thrash metal? Whatever it may be, the Belgians SLAUGHTER MESSIAH deliver hellishly great aggressive sounds.
Some of you will probably recognize Lord Sabbathan's coarse voice, since he is the former singer of Belgian black metal band Enthroned. SLAUGHTER MESSIAH have been producing a powerful sound in this configuration since 2011, which bears the brutality of death metal yet will also appeal to all fans of true black metal. SUMMER BREEZE Open Air presents a band reminiscent of the old Slayer and Sodom days, but who have mastered their own symbiosis of two powerful styles. Old school fans, check them out!
