MEXICO METAL FEST 2020 11/14/2020 MONTERRY, MEXICO ANNOUNCE: FESTIVAL CANCELLED

 

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, Promoters for MEXICO METAL FEST 2020, originally set to take place 11/14/2020 MONTERRY, MEXICO have announced the festival is postponed until 2021.

 

 

 

 

MEXICO METAL FEST 2020 had confirmed  KREATOR, DISMEMBER, SATYRICON, MAYHEM, SODOM, NILE, DESTRUCTION, 1349, ENTOMBED AD, GRAVE DIGGER, PENTAGRAM AND MORE BANDS.

Nephews, this 2020 was a difficult year for everyone in the world because of COVID-19, and in the music industry it's been a year to forget. As a result of this situation and in conjunction with the bands, government institutions, sponsors and production team, we have decided that the V edition of the

México Metal Fest

scheduled for November 14, 2020 at the Explanade of the Sultans, be POSTED for Saturday, October 30, 2021, to be held in the same place. For your safety, for your health and because Metal vibrates and lives closely with friends, we make this difficult but healthy decision; we want next year to live it as before, as it has always been and as we deserve.

Thankfully, thanks to close collaboration and interest in participating in the festival, we managed to re-order most of the talent we had confirmed for this edition.

It's worth clarifying that the bands that are yet to be featured in the updated poster are in negotiation with us and we'll be reporting the results soon. In case any (s) can not reintegrate next year on agenda issues, have full assurance that will be replaced by another (s) with the same prestige and relevance. In addition, those groups that are not able to present themselves in the V edition are in the best place to be part of one of the upcoming editions of our Festival.

EDITION VI

In addition, we have you a GREAT SURPRISE: we believe that both you and we deserve to leave behind the situation we have experienced and enjoy to the fullest next year, so not only will we have the rematch of the V edition in 2021, we will also celebrate the sixth edition! We decided to advance the date we already had scheduled and not tour it a year later, so we linked it a day early, so we can enjoy a double dose of this great metal festival that is Mexico Metal Fest. With this, on October 29, 2021 (that's right, one day before the V edition) we will make a new edition of the #MxMF, with completely different talent and with bands of the same level or even bigger of the that are already used to it.

CLARIFY: V edition will take place on Saturday because you guys purchased a ticket for such a day and we want to respect that. Contemplating their performance on Sunday is not viable because in Nuevo León only alcohol intake is allowed until 18:00 p.m. and what we want is to have fun freely.

TICKETS

Tickets purchased for V edition dated November 14, 2020, will be fully valid for the date of October 30, 2021, so there will be no need to make any change. So get ready nephews, 2021 will compensate us for the silence of this year with 2 editions of Mexico Metal Fest.
