FROM BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR PROMOTERS:
BLOODSTOCK would like to share some good news! Today, we have received word that we will be one of the recipients of the Government’s £1.57bn Culture Recovery Fund grant. We are grateful for this important funding that helps assure our future during these horrendously difficult times for the live music sector.
£257 million of investment has been announced today of the Culture Recovery Fund grants programme being administered by
Arts Council England
. BLOODSTOCK is one of 1385 cultural and creative organisations across the country receiving some urgently needed support as part of the first round, with further rounds to come.Festival director Rachael Greenfield comments, “We are both relieved and thrilled to receive this Culture Recovery Fund Grant from the Government. This important grant will ensure BLOODSTOCK’s survival during these very difficult times and enable us to continue planning for our return next year and existence beyond. The UK’s live music sector is world class and has seen a vast amount of talent develop year on year, so it’s reassuring to see the Government has recognised the need to protect our sector and assist our return in 2021.”
We look forward to reuniting with our metal brethren at BLOODSTOCK next summer
