Dear Doom Heart Tribe’s Brothers & Sisters…
After we had to reschedule the festival 3 times and 3 bands that canceled their participation, we are finally ready to present you the final form of Doom Heart Festival IV.
We keep the three foreign bands in the bill and we had two young absolute gems of the Italian doom scene!
Esogenesi from Milan with their Doom / Death with old school influences and Italian lyrics, who released their self titled debut album in 2019 via Transcending Obscurity Records, and For The Storms from Brescia, with their Blackened Melodic Doom / Death, fresh of release for their debut album “The Grieving Path”, out in physical form just last week by Time To Kill Records!

For The Storms is a doom/black metal - based project born in 2019 in Brescia (northern Italy) from some of the ex-members of Shantak. The name suggests a feeling of overwhelming discomfort and acceptance coming from the awareness of the shape of life itself, a dirge for darker times. Topics of the first album The Grieving Path are bereavement, visions of afterlife and introspection and overall it defines a step-by-step journey across a grief-torn mind.
Their astonishing debut is out April 22nd via Time To Kill Records.

Esogenesi came to life in january 2016 from a proposal of Davide Roccato (guitar) and Jacopo Marinelli (vocals) to take off a doom/death project lyrically inspired by lovecraftian themes and outer space journeys.
Not so late, due to mutual friends, Jacopo involved Michele Adami, current drummer of the black metal band Obsolete Theory, who also served as a bassist in the meantime. Initially intended as an EP, the trio started composing and eventually recording the first 2/5 of their full-length, despite the lack of a complete line-up.
After a year or so, in February 2017, Carlo Campanelli, bassist with classical studies at his back, answered to an announcement posted by the band and became the fourth horseman of the project.
Four months later, Esogenesi entered the studio again, refining the bass lines and recording the tracks left between June and July 2017.
The complete record will be then released and distributed on october 4th 2019 by the international label Transcending Obscurity Records.
During a period of appearances on local stages, the band also composed new songs and a possible second album.
Unfortunately, due to stylistic differences and personal duties, the lineup gets reorganized and in the course of 2020 the writing process begins again.
Towards the end of 2021 the new lineup is completed and the band is able to play 2 new tracks for gigs and future releases.
