NEWS - It is with a very heavy heart to some of us that we've learnt today of the passing of Luther Veldmark, most known under his nicknames of Gustav Bartho and Luciver Vecken.
A great vocalist and an impressive stage presence, Luther was also a very kind man IRL that never refused a chat with fans or to go on stage with young bands as a guest vocalist.
A staunch defender of the Old School, Luther was the vocalist for the Doom bands Hooded Priest, King Heavy and VIIHB, as well as the Heavy Metal band Witchsmeller Pursuivant.
To all his family and friends, the whole staff of doom-metal.com send their condoleances.
Check all the bands he was in. As he often sung, it is "Well Worth The Dig"

We are devasted to hear that our brother Luce Vee has left us. He has left a mark on our small world. His part in the grand finale of the final Doom Shall Festival in 2013 will always be remembered as well as all his bands. King Heavy was founded in the crypts of the Chapel. and they have dedicated a song to this event. Your enthusiasm, charisma, infectious laughter and presence will always be remembered, Luce. Our sincerest condolecences to his family, friends, bandmates..
