Massachusetts, U.S.A. cosmic death metal warriors ANCIENT DEATH have posted "BREAKING THE BARRIERS OF HOPE", a track from the bands debut release "EGO DISSOLUTION", due to be unleashed 4/18/2025 via PROFOUND LORE RECORDS.

The anticipated debut full-length album from Massachusetts cosmic death metal force ANCIENT DEATH “Ego Dissolution” has honed its sights for release on April 18th. Pre-orders now live new track “Breaking the Barriers of Hope” now streaming everywhere.

Formed in the summer of 2019 in Walpole, MA by Jasmine Alexander (Bass and Vocals), Ray Brouwer (Guitar), Jerry Witunsky (Guitar and Vocals), and Derek Malone Moniz (Drums), ANCIENT DEATH blends progressive and technical death metal with cosmic and lushful atmospheres creating a unique soundscape of introspection and growth. Continuing to expand and push the envelope of honesty and vulnerability “Ego Dissolution” showcases the band at their most fierce and creative, further expanding on the mindfulness of their inner and outer worlds.

“Ego Dissolution” was recorded and mixed by Seth Manchester at Machines With Magnets, mastered by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound, features cover art by Maegan LeMay and design by Chimere Noire.
