So, we are apparently about to lose half our fanbase because we shared a political post. The people who think this, have either never read any of our lyrics, or have not understood them. Similarly, for years we were described as a 'Christian' band because some early lyrics were written from this perspective. We still get this label even now. The lyrics were never written from a far right American 'Christian' type perspective even then, but from the perspective of a liberal, open minded person, who believed in love and compassion above religion. I have been agnostic for many years now and so the Christian aspect of MSW is long gone as the other members are either agnostic or atheist. I am against fascism and every other hateful system and I am also against violence of any kind. Many of our lyrics address the issues of violence, abuse and war if you look deeply enough; they are not just about personal experiences or thoughts about existence. So having said all that....we have a few more announcements coming up soon so half of you had better listen up.
