Greek heavy, power metal warriors FIREWIND have inked a record deal with BLKIIBLK RECORDS and have announced the return of vocalist HENNING BASSE.

FIREWIND have posted a video for "TALKING IN YOUR SLEEP" (ROMANTICS COVER) , a track from the bands anticipated new release "STAND UNITED", unleashed 3/1/2024 via AFM RECORDS.

BLKIIBLK Records is proud to welcome Greek power metal torchbearers Firewind to the roster. Led by internationally acclaimed guitarist Gus G., the band enters a bold new chapter—complete with a major lineup return and their most ambitious music yet.

Firewind also announce the comeback of powerhouse vocalist Henning Basse, whose history with the group includes standout performances on the Allegiance tour and the acclaimed Immortals album. At the same time, the band bids farewell to Herbie Langhans, thanking him for his contributions and wishing him success in his future endeavors.

“We’re all very excited as we dive into our upcoming concept album—our biggest and most epic work to date,” says Gus G. “We couldn’t imagine a better partner than BLKIIBLK. We can’t wait to unleash what’s coming. See you on the road in 2026!”

Some of you may already heard that I left Firewind.

It wasn't an easy decision, and it wasn't a decision against Firewind, but rather for my family. All the touring was quite a strain on me and my family, and I had to decide what to do next.

There were also often overlaps with Avantasia and other projects, and because of this I always felt guilty towards Firewind.

I'm very grateful to Firewind for all the experiences and I also learned a lot, and we made two fantastic albums. We traveled the world, laughed, goofed around, and ROCKED!

I'm happy that Henning is back and excited to see what the future holds. I'll definitely enjoy watching the occasional show with a beer in the future.
