Argentina based folk black metal warriors DOWNFALL OF NUR have posted the title track from the bands anticipated new release "AND THE FIRMAMENT WILL BURN TO QUENCH THE PAIN OF THIS EARTH", due to be unleashed 5/22/2026 via AVANTGARDE MUSIC.

After a whole decade of silence, I’m proud to finally announce that Downfall Of Nur is back with a new album.

Today, the preorder for And the Firmament Will Burn to Quench the Pain of This Earth is officially open.

This album means a lot to me. It is the result of years of work, reflection, and dedication, and it also marks an important moment for Downfall Of Nur after such a long time. I’m truly grateful to finally be able to share this news with all of you.

The album will be released on May 22, 2026 via @avantgarde_music, and it will be available worldwide on CD, 2LP in three different colors, and digital formats.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Downfall Of Nur over the years and kept this project alive through time and silence. Your support means more than words can say.

Downfall Of Nur new studio album was recorded, engineered and mixed by Antonio Sanna at Atlantic Aurora Studios and mastered by Gabriele Gramaglia at Crepuscular Sound Studio.

It will be available worldwide on CD, 2LP on three different colors and digital via Avantgarde Music on May 22nd, 2026.
