JORGE ARAIZ, guitarist for Spanish melodic, death, doom metal warriors IN LOVING MEMORY has passed away 6/29/2026 after a battle with cancer.

IN LOVING MEMORY have posted the bands anticipated new release "THE WITHERING", unleashed 1/14/2022 via FUNERE.

IN LOVING MEMORY unleashed "REDEMPTION" (EP), 11/1/2014 via HOUSE OF ASHES PRODUCTIONS.

IN LOVING MEMORY unleashed "NEGATION OF LIFE", 11/21/2011 via BADMOON MUSIC.

Dear friends and followers,

Today is another tragic day for In Loving Memory. Jorge Araiz, the band's rhythm guitarist, has passed away following an intense battle against cancer.

I want to express my deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Jorge and I had been playing together since we started the In Loving Memory project nearly 22 years ago. Together we performed live shows, recorded in the studio, composed much music, laughed, traveled, and now this chapter has ended in the worst way possible.

Rest in peace, friend.
