ITP UPDATE: SYNDICATE ISSUES ICEROCKET/BLOG TRACKER CLOSED/DEFUNT

ICEROCKET/BLOG TRACKER ITP V.011 FEED: http://www.icerocket.com/search?tab=blog&fr=h&q=individual+thought+patterns+V.011&x=20&y=13
UPDATE 7/19/2011: 10:14PM EST:
Just found out: Here's the news from BLOG TRACKER (on ICEROCKET)FROM dansanderson.com/blogtracker/: BlogTracker is closed for good. Thanks for your interest!
HERE's MORE PERSPECTIVE ON THE BLOGTRACKER CONTROVERSY FROM THE STEADWELL WEBLOG:
http://steadwell.wordpress.com/2011/07/14/icerocket-meltdown/
JULY 15th, 2011:
Steve I run IceRocket. We are a very small shop and appreciate you using. We had some server issues and we are working to get things back asap.
That being said our main business is our blogs API (paid service) that we license to all sorts of companies. The Blog tracker is a free service that we built for fun a few years ago. B/c it is not paid and we lack resources of a large company, we have to put our paying customers and API business first.

Hey Blake Rhodes! Who the heck do you think your USERS are? Bloggers like Steve D. and me. Bloggers who could just as easily go somewhere else. Your paying customers are presumably hoping to get some traffic for their money. Quit acting like we don’t make any darn difference one way or the other. Just get back online with blog tracker..
Richard Finegan
FROM BUGG O MANIAC:
http://tracker.icerocket.com/ is down from long time. Perhaps icerocket is planning to discontinue this service. Its been long time since we are using the nice tracker feature in ice rocket. But Icerocket team failed to monetize the tracker feature.
FROM BLOG TRACKER/ICE ROCKET:
WARNING: Major failure on 7/12/2011

As you have noticed our service was down for a several days. We had major failure of our hardware and did out best to restore the data. If you cannot login into the system, try to create your account again. Same about your blog. You need to re-add it.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for your patience. ITP UPDATE: OK, I JUST GOT THE NEWS, (from the search engines, hopefully a reliable source)THAT BLOG TRACKER IS CLOSED, DEFUNT.THE LEAST BLOG TRACKER COULD HAVE DONE IS SENT ALL OF US WITH ACCOUNTS (ON BLOG TRACKER) AND E-MAIL TO LET US KNOW THEY ARE CLOSING.UGH. WHEN AOL/HOMETOWN CLOSED ALL BLOGGERS WERE GIVEN 6 WEEKS NOTICE, AS NO NOTICE WAS GIVEN ABOUT BLOGTRACKER CLOSING. The one pain in the ass annoyance regarding managing this beast of a blog, is dealing with unreliable syndicates. Thankfully, BLOGTRACKER/ICEROCKET is NOT a PRIMARY syndicate to begin with. BTW, I don't really care about my journals ratings, as the ratings aren't all that bad anyway, and through the BLOGSPOT dashboard, I have a good accurate, breakdown of ratings anyway.

PAUL BOOTH (TATTOO ARTIST): Paul Booth presents "The Grand Reincarnation"

World reckoned tattoo artist Paul Booth presents "The Grand Reincarnation" set to take place on July 22nd, 23rd and 24th at 511 West 33rd Street (3rd Floor) in New York City.
"The Grand Reincarnation" is an upgrade to Paul Booth's LAST RITES tattoo studio in NYC. PAUL BOOTH's is known for his detailed dark and morbid art as he has tattooed Phillip H. Anselmo (PANTERA, DOWN), Evan of BIOHAZARD and done album cover art for SIX FEET UNDER and many others.
FROM LAST RITES (THANKS TO HORNSUPROCKS): Paul Booth decided it was time to renovate his office of dark arts known as "Last Rites & Tattoo Theatre" because he wanted to push his artistic abilities to the next level, and to make his tattoo shop/gallery/theatre even more twisted and demented. "The Grand Reincarnation" will be taking place on July 22nd, 23rd and 24th at 511 West 33rd Street (3rd Floor) in New York City.

Here is the rundown of the events that will take place this weekend at Paul Booth's "Last Rites & Tattoo Theatre".

- Saturday July 23rd:

The second evening to our weekend is when we drop the black curtains and launch the all new Tattoo Theatre area of our space. Not only is this another chance to take in the art of ChetZar and Craig Larotonda, but on this special night you can truly soak in the entire Last Rites experience. To really bring it home, appearing on our new performance stage, we have two of our favorite partners in crime making a special appearance: Jamie Kilstein, our favorite stand up comedian (you may have seen him on Conan O’ Brian), totally uncensored! Making a special trip all the way from Budapest, Attila Csihar, vocalist from the infamous Norwegian Black Metal band Mayhem, will present his solo dark ambient project VOID OV VOICES. Together, these two artists truly represent the driving force of Last Rites philosophy. Along with a strolling funerary violinist… you truly do not want to miss this! See below for more information about the special guests.

- Sunday July 24th:

Sunday brings a great time to wind things down as we bring great painterly talent together from our family of artists to paint live at Last Rites. This is a great opportunity to witness these masters bring their stunning creations to life right before your eyes. Feel free to mingle and soak in an immense degree of creative energy and artistic inspiration.

- Artists for Sunday's live painting event include:

Shawn Barber, Kim Saigh, Chet Zar, Genevive Zacconi, Angie Mason, Fred Harper, Billy Norrby, Matt Rota, Martin Wittfooth, Paul Booth, The ArtFusion Experiment and more!

- Saturday's Special Guests:

- Jamie Kilstein:

“Hilarious and scathing.” - Rolling Stone Magazine

“Jamie Kilstein is a doofus.” - Glenn Beck

“There are few truly insightful, passionate and hysterically funny political comedians around, and even fewer coming out of the States. New Yorker Jamie Kilstein is a shining light probing into the murkier corners of the religious right and corrupt politics of his homeland. Funny and penetrating, he’s taken Bill Hicks’ baton and run with it.” - Time Out London

- Attila Csihar:

Void Of Voices is the solo Dark Ambient project of Budapest, Hungary based vocalist Attila Csihar. Since 1992, Attila has been the lead vocalist in the influential Norwegian Black Metal band Mayhem and since 2004 he has been the permanent guest vocalist for the doom/drone Metal band Sunn O))). Csihar states the concept behind Void Ov Voice is to use “only my voice as an instrument via a loop machine and effects”; through this process Csihar creates some of the most haunting Dark atmosphere and Ritualistic chants that could likely raise the Hordes from the depths of Hell itself. His main goal with Void Ov Voices is to play live shows where the visual aspects and live experience is sure to enhance the overall effect.

This series of events are not to be missed by any fans of the dark arts!

GLORIOR BELLI: French Black Metallers To Release The Great Southern Darkness

French black metal warriors GLORIOR BELLI have revealed the cover art and track-listing for the bands anticipated new release entitled "The Great Southern Darkness" due to be unleashed 9/27/2011 on METAL BLADE.
FROM EARSPLIT PR: French black metallers GLORIOR BELLI have revealed the cover art and track listing for their new album The Great Southern Darkness to be released in North America on September 27, 2011.

Commented the band on the new release: “The Great Southern Darkness has been recorded over a few months period and is comprised of 11 tracks that magnify all the best elements of GLORIOR BELLI in a twisted unique way again; a tremendous journey through dark deserts and evil swamps with Lucifer as a personal guide. It’s also dangerously violent and fast, yet at the same time really dark with all the Americana/stoner/blues elements that we cherish. Though often warm and almost inviting, the allure of GLORIOR BELLI’s bidding is revealed by a vicious duplicity; you will find comfort here, but at an unspeakable toll. The production is clear yet just harsh enough to bring a warm, fuzzy and completely unique sound you won’t find in any other modern recordings. So load up your haversack and hit the dusty road!”

The Great Southern Darkness Track Listing:
1. Dark Gnosis
2. Secret Ride To Rebellion
3. They Call Me Black Devil
4. Negative Incarnate
5. Bring Down The Cosmic Scheme
6. The Great Southern Darkness
7. The Foolhardy Venturer
8. Per Nox Regna
9. The Science Of Shifting
10. Chaos Manifested
11. Horns In My Pathway

GLORIOR BELLI crept out from the temperamental suburbs of Paris in December 2002. What started as a notorious duo soon became a remarkable beast, acting as a beacon for everyone looking to free themselves of the influence of the Demiurge. A symbolic demo — Evil Archaic Order — was released in June 2004, followed by their first full-length album, Ô Lavdate Dominvs, in May 2005. Their sophomore album, Manifesting The Raging Beast, was released in June 2007 via Southern Lord Records followed by, Meet Us At The Southern Sign, which ravaged unsuspecting ears in June 2009 via Candlelight Records.

Lyrics and themes explored over the years reveal a sincere inclination for rebel-ism and a developed sense of poetry. Today, GLORIOR BELLI has garnered a stellar reputation in the extreme music community for mixing desert rock textures with the brutal, ominous, doom-laden vibe typical of black metal. But don’t bother trying to restrain that which cannot be confined, for this is merely the greatest curse of the cosmic scheme.

GLORIOR BELLI:
Julien: Vocals + Guitar
Gionata: Drums
Davide: Bass
Bjørn: Guitar

GORE GROWLERS BALL: CEPHALIC CARNAGE CONFIRMED

Promoters for the 2011 GORE GROWLERS BALL set to take place 11/18-20, 2011 @ THE KOROVA, San Antonio, Texas have confirmed Denver, Colorado grinders CEPHALIC CARNAGE.
FROM GORE GROWLERS BALL PROMOTERS:
Everyone’s favorite Hydro Grind Death Metal band from Colorado will be joining this already amazing line-up of this year’s Goregrowler’s Ball festival. They will be heading down to TX along side Goatwhore. We are very happy to have them as part of this year’s festival. These guys always put on an amazing performance, and San Antonio seems to love these guys. Please welcome CEPHALIC CARNAGE!!!!The Goregrowler’s Ball Metal Festival was created by Aaron Mendiola, the owner/operator of Goregrowler Entertainment back in 2007. The first festival was held in November of 2007, and in all actuality, it wasn’t even supposed to be a yearly thing at all. In this year, Aaron turned 30 years old, and wanted to create a show for my birthday, and for those who know him, know he does things BIG! So a gathering of 30 bands, which most included friends of Aaron that he has known in the music scene. The fest had a lot of people in attendance to see which was mostly local bands from the area, and a few out of town or state bands.

At the end of the event, it was asked to the crowd if another fest would be a good idea, and it was welcomed with open arms. So The once birthday show, has now become one of the biggest metal gatherings in South Texas. With the rise of the Metal Fest throughout the world, and with most of them keeping their titles simple like “XYZ FEST”, “XXX DEATHFEST”, etc… The birthday show name of The Goregrowler’s Ball stuck. It is a bit different of a name, but that’s the way we all like it. Even though there has been the occasional “What’s a Goregrowler?” We find that quite funny.

In December of 2010, After GGB 4, Aaron decided the next years event needed to even bigger, possibly being able to rival larger festivals around the country. But he would need help. Ex-Catatonia Metal Shop owner Timothy Pittides stepped up to the plate and together they would vow to put San Antonio on the map of quality metal festivals with bigger names and bigger goals.

Here we are now in 2011,The Goregrowlers Ball 2011, the fifth anniversary is booked and is exactly what the promoters wanted but most importantly, what the fans wanted. And there is no end in sight for the future of GGB!

Thank you for all your support!!!
