Catalan atmospheric metal band FOSCOR have revealed the details of their digital only album 'Les Irreals Versions', to be released on August 24, 2018 on Season of Mist.
Furthermore, a new lyric video for the track "Encenalls de Mort (Irreals)," has been published. Watch it below!
FOSCOR comment: "Our creative foundations call for a transformation of all moments to eternal, reaching a reconciliation between the far beyond and the here, matching the spiritual and earthly level of our nature. As we set during the creative process for 'Les Irreals Visions', common things must acquire a new meaning, and so this compilation of songs digs into this aim.

The world must be poetized, and taking our own songs to the most intimate level, we were able to expand its dimension and memory. A pleasant experience shared with pure artists, which today we are more than proud to present you with this first visual and acoustic approach. This time-lapse video experience sets a metaphor of a personal and individual experience.
"Encenalls de Mort (Irreals)" translate as "Shavings of Death", is based on our vocalist Fiar experience during his grandfather’s last hours. Watching him touch a sort of invisible sparks or falling leaves in front of him, gave him the idea that perhaps by catching these invisible things in the very last moment you are saving some life shavings: memories, experiences and moments you love but that Death asks you to leave behind."

After playing these songs Live for first time during our show in Barcelona last December 2017, we are pleased to present you "Les Irreals Versions". A compilation of six songs re-arranged and recorded from zero taken from our last album "Les Irreals Visions" and the previous "Those Horrors Wither".
The most intimate and ambient approach to our music, thanks to the cooperation among pure artists and friends who helped us to achieve the translation. New instruments and new sounds which can be seen as a continuation of the last album, exploring and reaching new levels and boundaries.

ITP V.018 UPDATE: BBL WITH MORE EXTREME METAL NEWS

It's been a very sad weekend with the news of famed metal drummer VINNIE PAUL ABBOTT'S (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN, HELLYEAH) death.
From all reports and observations, VINNIE PAUL ABBOTT was a super cool, very friendly charming and generous guy. VINNIE was a business man as he owned some strip clubs and a small indie label, BIG VIN RECORDS. Most of all, VINNIE PAUL ABBOTT was an underrated drummer and banged the skins for one of best metal bands of all time PANTERA. PANTERA (along with SLAYER) flew the metal flag in the face of trends when being a metal head wasn't so trendy and supported the underground thrash,. black and death metal scenes against all odds.
A major achievement for PANTERA was carrying the metal scene against the grain as PANTERA were a fans band.

Preliminary reports state that VINNIE PAUL ABBOTT died of a heart attack in his sleep, pending autopsy and toxicology reports.

Condolences to VINNIE PAUL ABBOTT'S friends, family and various bandmates.
At least in spirit, VINNIE PAUL ABBOTT is re-united with his brother (DARRELL "DIMEBAG" ABBOTT, who died in a shooting at his own show with DAMAGEPLAN 12/2004) in a better place than this hell we call Earth.
There's a great metal band in rock and roll heaven.

Have a Crown Royal, Black Tooth Grin and blast some PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN and HELLYEAH. Most of all, hug your loves ones and fellow metal warriors as life is short and make the most of your time on this Earth.
Be inspired to carry the metal torch,  pick up the sticks. Be a generous person and friend to many as VINNIE PAUL ABBOTT was.
