Catholicon was one of the pioneers of the "USBM" scene and influenced many of the young bands in the scene today. they still plan to finish "of ages past" which they are currently recording, but it will take more of a born again christian stance in the lyrics instead of the usual blasphemous lyrical content.the album should be released by years end . none of the band members could be reached for comment . 4/1/08 (ahaha)

This isn’t the first time we’ve been threatened by forces in the music industry desperate to maintain their stranglehold on the scene as they see their relevantness slipping away. Due to these threats, we’ve been forced to shut down part of our site as we sort through and remove the content in question (but I guess it’s okay for Google to link to these things?). However, we remain dedicated to the privacy of our users and will fight their requests to turn over the account information of the members they singled out. We may also be forced to put up a temporary site in the coming days as we changeover to a new host. Please bare with us and we apologize for any inconvenience.
