FROM DARK FUNERAL MYSPACE: DARK FUNERAL: Album To Be Released In Different Formats. “ANGELUS EXURO PRO ETERNUS” Tracklisting Revealed Online!
(Stockholm, SWEDEN) - Swedish black metallers DARK FUNERAL, the Ineffable Kings of Darkness, and one of the biggest bands today has finalized more details on their upcoming album. They are finally ready to reveal the full track listing of their brand new album, "ANGELUS EXURO PRO ETERNUS"!!!
The new masterpiece, which is set for a November 18th 2009 release via Regain Records, was recorded at Abyss Studio in Grangärde (Sweden) with famed engineer and legendary producer Peter Tägtgren (Pain, Hypocrisy). It includes a total of 9 songs. Musically it is the bands most technical and varied album to date. And while still being true to their roots, they have taken a great step forward in the evolution of their brand of fine Swedish black metal. “ANGELUS EXURO PRO ETERNUS” is, from the very beginning to the end, a hell ride you simply don’t want to miss!
The album will be released in a couple of different formats. One of the first officially confirmed information is that the very first editions will be a 2 DISC Limited Edition [containing 1 CD + 1 Live DVD]. The bonus live DVD offers approx. 55 minutes of all previously unreleased material. Professionally filmed with 6 cameras during the band’s highly acclaimed 15th anniversary special show, which has been commended as a “firestorm” during the P&L Festival in Sweden 2008, cannot be missed! Furthermore DARK FUNERAL shot a video for one of the new tracks, "My Funeral", over the August 21-23 weekend at the Abyss Studios. Lord Ahriman explains: "The video was shot in and outside an old and closed mental hospital. The environment was just killer. And besides, it suited the video theme perfect! The video is currently under editing by Standard Film Team. And within the next two-three weeks it should be ready for the world premiere. However, due to the graphic violence and somewhat gory nature of the video, I would assume that we will be forced to edit two versions, one soft and one hard core version. Exactly how and where we'll release them is yet to be decided though." Make sure to check out the photos taken during the video shooting at the official DARK FUNERAL MySpace page:

Also, Norwegian black metal/black punk legends DARKTHRONE shall have an as of yet untitled release out by early 2010. FROM BLABBERMOUTH.NET:
Norwegian black metallers DARKTHRONE will enter the studio in late October to complete the recording process for their new album for an early 2010 release. The band's Nocturno Culto (real name: Ted Skjellum) states, "We've had a long summer break now and it's time to face winter/death."
DARKTHRONE's latest album, "Dark Thrones and Black Flags", was released in October 2008 through Peaceville. The follow-up to 2007's acclaimed "F.O.A.D." LP was made available in three formats: a regular edition in super jewel case; a vinyl edition; and a special edition in a slipcased super jewel case package with exclusive new video footage featuring DARKTHRONE in the studio — "Fucking Around Version 1" and "Fucking Around Version 2."
