You have been waiting for long! Here they finally are, the first five bands confirmed for SUMMER BREEZE 2011:

While CALIBAN and SALTATIO MORTIS are among the leading German bands in their respective genres (metalcore and medieval rock), we are also proud to be able to announce internationally recognized exponents of their styles with PRIMORDIAL (pagan metal), THE HAUNTED (thrash) and VOMITORY (death metal) at such an early stage.

2.: Tickets start shipping
After last year there was a delay in the production of the DVD, fortunately this time we will be able to stick to the planned shipping date for your tickt orders. On November 11th, 2010 all of you who have ordered and paid for your tickets for SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2011, which will be held at its usual location in Dinkelsbühl from August 18th to 20th, 2011, will find them in their mailbox.

Tickets are available for 72 Euros (excl. pre-sale fees, incl. parking/camping) at www.silverdust-shop.de! The first 10,000 ordered tickets include a free DVD with loads of live footage and impressions from SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2009.

With the motto “those who dance don't die”, SALTATIO MORTIS will provide a great time at SUMMER BREEZE 2011. Their medieval rock enjoys an ever-growing popularity, as the Mannheim band was one of the acts that established this style of music in Germany, as well as in its album charts (their last studio album “Wer Wind Sæt” made it to position number 10), alongside Corvus Corax, In Extremo and Schandmaul. Since their formation in 2011, the septet has been releasing albums almost in one-year intervals. Their breakthrough album was 2002's “Das Zweite Gesicht”. The recent live album “Manufactum II” is their discography's impressive climax so far. It's time for the dance of the dead!
