UNLOCKING THE TRUTH: CUT TIES WITH SONY RECORDS

Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York based hardcore/hard rock trio UNLOCKING THE TRUTH have stated the band has "cut ties" with SONY RECORDS. UNLOCKING THE TRUTH inked a 1.8 million deal with SONY MUSIC in 2014.
UNLOCKING THE TRUTH's SONY MUSIC incentive based record deal includes a $60, 000 advance, 17 % royalties and options for more advances if the trio sells 250, 000 units.

It is unclear if UNLOCKING THE TRUTH were dropped or found way out of their SONY contract.

UNLOCKING THE TRUTH went gone viral with a YOU TUBE video of the band rocking NYC at TIMES SQUARE. UNLOCKING THE TRUTH have since signed to a booking agent who scored the trio a spring 2014 west coast mini tour including COACHELLA and a gig with MOTORHEAD.

UNLOCKING THE TRUTH have recently worked with vocal coach MELISSA CROSS, author of "The Zen Of Screaming" (whom also worked with ANGELA GOSSOW formerly of ARCH ENEMY, RANDY BLYTHE of LAMB OF GOD and COREY TAYLOR of SLIPKNOT ) to include vocals in the bands arsenal.

UNLOCKING THE TRUTH are set to release a documentary "Breaking a Monster" as the film debuted 3/14/2015 at the 2015 SXSW FESTIVAL.
