 Promoters for MARYLAND DEATH FEST 2015, set to take place 5/21-24, 2015 Edison Lot, Rams Head and Soundstage Baltimore, Maryland have announced German thrashers SODOM are cancelling the bands appearance at the festival due to VISA issues. SOLSTICE will replace SODOM for MARYLAND DEATH FEST 2015. 








Promoters for MARYLAND DEATH FEST 2015 have also confirmed AETERNUS, ARCTURUS, AURA NOIR, NEUROSIS, EINHERJER, MASTER, METAL CHURCH, PORTAL, SKEPTICISM, TRIPTYKON, WINTER,  NAPALM DEATH, DEMILICH, ANAAL NATHRAKH, PRIMORDIAL, EARLY GRAVES, NOXA, AMORPHIS (Performing the 'Tales from the Thousand Lakes' album in its entirety), BLOODBATH, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, VATTNET VISKAR, FULL OF HELL, ANTI GAMA and more EXTREME METAL BANDS. 

FROM MARYLAND DEATH FEST 2015 PROMOTERS:
The government approved the visa petition for SODOM, but then failed to send the required documents that would have allowed the band to actually get their visas despite repeated attempts by the MDF and the band to get those documents. The parties have been unable to get any answer from the government as to why the documents were never received by MDF or the band. The band is incredibly frustrated by this and so are we. We take a lot of pride in doing everything in our power to get foreign bands to the states, but it's really hard for us to swallow when the incompetence of the U.S. government messes this up.
SOLSTICE will be playing instead of Sodom. This will change the schedule for that stage slightly and we'll update the website with these changes this evening.

MDF XIII PROGRAM:
Look for it at the front entrance of all venues. It is FREE.
WATER:
Several coolers with FREE WATER will be located near the MDF merch tent. They will be filled throughout the weekend.
ATMs:
Several ATMs will be located just outside of the Edison Lot entrance and several will be inside of Edison Lot.
PICNIC TABLES:
Will be located in a shady area of Edison Lot. We will have more tables than last year.
CAN I BRING MY BACKPACK?
Yes, backpacks are allowed at all venues, but please note that they are subject to search upon entering any of the venues. Rams Head requires you to check your backpack at the coat check area before entering the venue.
WHERE IS THE BAND MERCH AT EDISON LOT?
Some bands will have their merch sold at the MDF merch tent. All other band merch will be located inside of the large tent at the end of vendor vilage. Please note that we no control over how long a band sells merch and when they set it up. We can only tell you where to find it.
FIRST AID:
If you require medical assistance at the Edison Lot, go to the front entrance. EMTs will be on site wearing ORANGE T-shirts.
RAMS HEAD ENTRANCE:
Please note that you can also use the back entrance on Frederick Street to enter the venue. If there is a cover charge on Saturday night to enter the Power Plant Live complex, DON'T PAY IT. Use the entrance on Frederick Street.
IS THERE RE-ENTRY?
Yes, re-entry is permitted at all venues. This applies to ALL AGES.
CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?
Yes, and we don't care if it's a DSLR. However, no photo passes will be given out.
MULTI-DAY WRISTBANDS:
You will receive a cloth wristband if you have a 4-day pass or 3-day pass for any of the venues. DON'T TAKE IT OFF. Leave it on all weekend.
