FROM UNIVERSAL MUSIC ROMANIA:

Universal Music Team Seychelles is devastated by the consequences of the tragedy that occurred in the club together. We're îndurerați for all those who are no longer with us, we are concerned about the lives of everyone who is răniti, at the hospital and we are with the families of all the victims of fire.
Very many of those at the concert we are or we were friends, associates, are or were our artists, some of us were there.
Band's album launch was goodbye to gravity. Two of the flight members lost their lives, and the other three are in critical condition at the hospital. Is cutremurător like young people losing their lives trying to make life more beautiful other young people.
This tragedy that îndoliază soul, we must not zdruncine our belief in music.
Thank everyone who showed compassion these days and we would urge everyone to continue to show solidarity to fire victims and their cronies.
# solidarity ‪#‎compassion‬ ‪#‎collective‬

FROM ALISSA WHITE GLUZ (ARCH ENEMY):
Fuck..... my heart goes out to the Romanian metal scene. I'm so sorry... Bucharest, this is a tragedy I can't begin to fathom. Wishing a speedy recovery to those injured and peace to those families stricken. Please stay safe, guys.

FROM EYE OF SOLITUDE:

It is a sad day for Romania and a sad day for me as a Romanian.
For those of you who didn't hear it yet, a club caught fire last night while a band were launching their album.
The tragedy left 27 dead young people and over 180 injured, some with serious injuries.
Our thoughts and deep condolences go to the families of those who perished last night and to those who have been injured. It's a tragedy beyond words...beyond words...
I hope all my Romanian friends are ok, please let us know if there's ANYTHING we can do.
-Daniel-

FROM ANGELA GOSSOW (FORMER VOCALIST AND MANAGER OF ARCH ENEMY):

My heart goes out to the victims, their families and friends of the Bucharest nightclub fire. I know somebody personally who has just lost a lot of friends there. It's a horrible tragedy which could've been prevented so easily. Do not use pyros in small indoor venues if there's no fire certificate, permit and fire workers in place. Pyros are no 'gimmick'. Venues are dangerous places with not enough exists, ceilings full of polysterol and other inflammable materials. We've often been on stage knowing, there's no backstage exit. Just the front door, through a packed venue. Whoever promotes shows - take a minute and look a the place you are holding the concerts in. If it's obviously a trap and easily a mass grave when a fire ignites, don't rent that room. It's just not worth the money.. I do not want to know how the promoter, club owner and the surviving members of the band will feel once they get the news. It's just pain and horror all around. My deepest condolences to all who've lost loved ones in there.

FROM ENSLAVED:

About this weekend's tragedy in Bucuresti, Romania:
This weekend disaster struck at a metal concert in Bucuresti, where a local band was releasing their second album. Fire broke out inside the venue due to malfunctioning pyro and various factors. It was free entrance, with many people, including kids and local bands attending.
At this hour the death toll is 32, with 130 hospitalized - from which at least 50 is in critical condition.
Enslaved wishes to extend our condolances to the bereaved, and our best wishes to the injured. It is not our place to comment on the "how"s and "who"s, we just want to let our Romanian friends know that our thoughts and hearts go out to them, Thank you Costin for your updates.
Sincerely,
Ivar & Enslaved

FROM DAMNATION FEST:

Whilst we're all no doubt getting excited for Damnation Festival this weekend, we'd like to just take a minute to spare a thought (and some change if you've got it) for the victims of the recent nightclub fire in Romania. It's a tragedy no matter who was in that nightclub, but that it happened during a metal gig makes it feel that little bit closer to home.
We'll have collection boxes at Damnation - so if you have a couple of quid or a few spare pennies, drop 'em in - and the proceeds will go to help with funeral costs and medical bills.

FROM DANA PILCA:
"...there are 32 dead and 133 wounded, of which 90 in very serious condition. It is sad day for us, the romanians, but the sacrifice of these young people woke us up to life. The government resigned following protests, and everything takes a new turn. I hope you will grant me permission to add here that one piece concert band, two members of which were killed instantly, while the other two are struggling between life and death. The album's title track and also its lyrics are chanted three days by tens of thousands of people on the streets of Bucharest and across the country. Unfortunately, the band members do not know what they managed to do through music and their sacrifice. We hope and pray for those who survived, to join us as soon as possible ... and to those who sacrificed themselves we always think., And we know that up there, are with us! For rockers and go to heaven and prays rockers and think, perhaps more than others, the better. Thank you for the good thinking !"
