ITP V.015 SOCIAL JUSTICE: INDIGENOUS PEOPLE'S DAY 2015
Instead of celebrating CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS DAY (racist, murderer guilty of genocide), many U.S. cities are celebrating INDIGENOUS PEOPLE'S DAY, acknowledging the real founders of the U.S.A., Native Americans, and those whom cultivated this land.
Let's work on INDIGENOUS PEOPLE'S DAY in every U.S. market.
FROM LAST REAL INDIANS (FACEBOOK):
The following 8 cities have all passed Indigenous Peoples' Day resolutions to replace columbus day over the past couple months! The Indigenous Peoples' Day efforts are being driven by local Native activists.
1. Albuquerque, New Mexico
2. Lawrence, KS
3. Portland, OR
4. St. Paul, MN
5. Bexar County, TX
6. Anadarko, OK
7. Olympia, WA
8. Alpena, MI
