Good friend in Puerto Rico has completed another documentary The Metal Islands on metal in the Spanish Caribbean. His previous film, The Distorted Island, about metal in Puerto Rico, has. It competed a film that discusses metal in the Dominican Republic and Cuba. First trait has not been posted:

The academic research team that brought you the award winning documentary on Puerto Rico's Metal scene ("The Distorted Island" - 2015) continues to expand their research throughout the Caribbean region. This new documentary explores the role of politics, history and culture in the development of Heavy Metal scenes in Cuba, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
