ALESTORM
'True Scottish Pirate Metal': Was vor rund einer Dekade noch gar nicht existierte, hat sich mittlerweile auf allen sieben Weltmeeren einen markanten Namen gemacht - und nicht nur dort. Alestorm, einst als BATTLEHEART in See gestochen, haben sich unter Captain Christopher Bowes die Szene in den vergangenen Jahren im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes im Sturm erobert. Die Mischung aus rauen, aber ungemein eingängigen M...

Alestorm

True Scottish Pirate Metal: what did not exist about a decade ago has now made a distinctive name on all seven seas - and not just there. Alestorm, once stabbed as battle heart in lake, has captured the scene in the last few years in the truest sense of the word in the storm. The mixture of rough but extremely catchy metal hymns, a regular portion of humor (not rarely the alcohol of pregnant art...) and the known privateer image wins more and more fans, board across Europe the charts and naturally ensures, in particular, live and in the open sky Best Sailor mood. It's time for alestorm to put their course back in balingen and go to the bang your head!!! 2018

CLOVEN HOOF

With Cloven Hoof honour once more a and beast-GEM THE BANG YOUR HEAD!!!. The British Veterans who now have been with singer George call and drummer Danny White (both connoisseurs of aska) also have two Americans in their ranks With their eponymous debut in 1984, they recorded a classic classic. The two successors, " Dominator and in particular the fantastic ' a sultan's ransom ', made it possible for cloven hoof to enjoy the reputation of a REAL UNDERGROUND LEGEND. In 1990, the band broke up, and the band broke up in 1990 In 2004, Lee Payne and Lee Payne were reunited with the troupe. Several Festival, two new albums and re-recordings of old classics followed before after the release of 'resist or serve' was once again quite quiet around the band - so far. Because with who mourns for the morning star? ' have cloven hoof not only recorded a dew fresh and incredibly strong traditions metal album, they will also come to balingen.

Alpha Tiger

Even after the release of their " man or machine Alpha Tiger had the metal underground on a blow on their side: the stirring mixture of a sound à la old queensryche and fates warning of the arch era on the one and early iron maiden On the other hand, there was a found for all fans of traditional sounds away from the polished mainstream. With the two follow albums and thanks to various shows on the great metal events of the Republic Bilk, the saxons rallied more followers and eventually changed their identity not only to the camp of the renowned label spv / Steam Hammer, but also to have a very own style Out. On the current five twerk 'Alpha Tiger', this development culminates in a fulminant bridge between 70 s hard rock, 80 s-Metal and contemporary, but still analog-warm and square-Angular Production. Welcome to alpha tiger at bang your head!!! 2018!

Alestorm

'True Scottish Pirate Metal' might not exist as a genre more than a decade now, and yet, today, it has conquered all the world's seven seas - and more. In recent years, ALESTORM, once entering the ocean as BATTLEHEART, have quite literally taken the scene by storm. The unique blend of rough, yet very memorable metal anthems, a keen (and pretty jolly) sense of humor and a winking bucaneer image keeps attracting more and more fans and is a guarantor of the most cheerful sailor's mood - especially live on stage and open air. So it's clearly about time for ALESTORM to set their course towards Balingen to anchor at BANG YOUR HEAD!!! 2018.

CLOVEN HOOF

Once again, a very fine gem of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWoBHM) will join us at Balingen: CLOVEN HOOF. The English veterans, featuring two Americans (singer George Call and drummer Danny White, both known from ASKA) in their ranks today, too, have provided the metal world with some highly acclaimed classics including their eponymous debut, its successor 'Dominator' and, of course, the fantastic 'A Sultan's Ransom', all of them contributing to the excellent reputation of CLOVEN HOOF among fans and media. Unfortunately, the commercial success would never equal the quality of the band's music, resulting in a split up in 1990. In 2004, band leader Lee Payne reunited CLOVEN HOOF, though, and several festival shows, two brand new studio releases and a couple of re-recordings would follow. After the release of 'Resist or Serve' another calm period began, which is about to end right now, as CLOVEN HOOF have not just recorded the excellent 'Who Mourns For The Morning Star?': They will also be part of our next year's band line up at Balingen!

Alpha Tiger

ALPHA TIGER's great debut 'Man Or Machine' made the metal underground scene embrace the band instantly: the thrilling combination of elements striving from the early era of QUEENSRYCHE and the first three FATES WARNING releases still featuring John Arch on the one and IRON MAIDEN during the glorious 80ies on the other hand was just what the crowd hungry for new off-mainstream acts was waiting for. Thanks to equally strong follow-up recordings and appearances at some of Germany's most important festivals, the fan base grew and prospered. ALPHA TIGER signed with reknowned label SPV/Steamhammer and finally managed to forge a very own and distinct sound with the release of 'iDentity'. Their latest impressive musical effort is simply called 'Alpha Tiger' and features a mature blend of 70ies hard rock, 80ies metal and a contemporary, yet still warm and analog production with rough edges. Please welcome ALPHA TIGER at BANG YOUR HEAD!!! 2018!
